I think that if he reclassifies he would be a rotational player to start the season.

He would be the second best player on the team from day 1. I think his stat line is something like 22 minutes: 10 points, 7 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 2 assists as a freshman.

rotational player

I think there's a big possibility that we can see wholesale changes (think line changes) during games this year.

Line changes are probably a bad idea. It cost Kentucky a championship in the year that Booker was there.

While I'm not advocating line changes, KY is, IMO, an outlier bc they have a team full of superstars that are 1 & dones auditioning for the NBA. In order for line changes to work, you have to have a team with unselfish players knowing their roles.

It didn't work at Kentucky because Cal tried to make playing time even among all players.

If MPJ plays 30 minutes and his backup played 10, then that sort of line change would work.

Agree.....having line changes doesn't mean that everyone has the same PT

He starts, but I dont think we see the stats from him we would think. I think scoring for him will be an issue for much of the season. But three reasons as to why I think he starts.

1) rebounding. He'll be great at that from the start
2) his ability to stretch the floor
3) passing for a big man is unlike anything ive seen in a long, long time.

He will open up so many more scoring chances for 2-4 positions to score, and 90% of our scoring will come from the 2-4 spot anyway.

Here's a future Tiger keeping it all in the family.

Yes he can. I don't know if he will but talent wise, he has the 2nd most talent on the team.
