4 guard teams can win. However, they all have a really good big (we don't and won't) and excellent guards (maybe, but will take massive improvement) and precise offense/ball movement/moving without the ball etc (didn't see a lot if that in year 1)

Maybe we are not on the same page. I'm Talking about improvement, realistically that's 14 wins. Not a 25-30 win team.

Should said weeks in referring to Bryant. The coaches had an in home The day after word came out the we were eliminated. Still wasn't believed inside the coaching staff that he would come.

I think we were eliminated before that even. I think the last in home was as a favor to Fulford to give him one last opportunity to change his mind.

Ratliffe who was a very good college post, a NBA point and really good shooters around that.

As far as improvement goes, IDK. I don't think we can play that style of ball above and if we can't we are just going to get slaughtered on the block. We have one true big, and it's Ryan Rosburg.

We're in trouble, I'm afraid.

Yeah, she's been saying no to everyone except Cuse since last summer. Before the in home, Bryant had come out with statement that Cuse, UK and Indy were in the running. Mizzou conspicuously out.

Not that I'm disputing everyone...but there is a large difference between our team next year and 2012 team, or even ND. Those were Senior laden squads. 2012 had ratliffe and Steve...but kimmie was excellent at boxing out. We were so efficient on Offense that everyone could crash the boards on D and not worry about rebounding on the offensive end.

If Rosburg can make strides like he did from his Freshman to Sophmore year instead of regressing...he should be serviceable. Not good by any stretch, but serviceable against some of those huge SEC bodies.

Watched Phillips today, he has hops and actually crashes the boards. Needs to work on his left hand and will have to learn to adjust in the lane without getting swatted to next week. He was excellent at controlling tempo and flow of game.

Realistically, he wasn't going to sign on with this trainwreck of a team.Any other big men out there?
