SECN money only goes so far.

Mizzou's athletic budget is pretty small in comparison to the top athletic schools across the country. Donations and attendance need to go up. Unfortunately, both are going in the wrong direction.

Since ku was brought up, they have a budget that is 13M dollars higher than ours. There are a handful of schools that nearly double our budget and a long list of schools that have is beat by 20M or more. Our budget is 11th highest in the SEC and we aren't particularly close to #10.

Mizzou's in the final 3 for Corprew. With A&M and kU. Probably have to wait on Jackson. If Jackson goes to kU, Mizzou probably lands Corprew.

Also going all in on Dembele.

Thanks for explaining it then. Aside from Texas, I thought the SEC TV payouts were supposed to be substantially more than the Big 12 TV payouts?

They are, but that's not the only source of revenue for schools.

If we weren't in the SEC our budget would be substantially lower.

It's kind of a catch 22. Yes, we make more money in the SEC but so does everyone else so it's only an advantage over non SEC/Big 10 teams.

Bottom line is, fans need to step up but that's not happening. We are going in the wrong direction

I went to the last home game of the year. And it's frankly worse in person than on TV.

For reasons other than not being able to lounge around in My Little Pony boxers? Wait, did I type that or think that?

His profile has really blown up since coming to the US last fall. He has gained about 25 pounds of muscle, according to his coach.
There's not a lot of updated senior year video on him.

It isn't just KU has that much more money than us but if KU or Self want something basketball related they pretty much get it. Self wanted a new practice facility after they won it in 2008 and he got it. He wanted basketball dorms and he got it. The school wanted the rules of basketball and they got it and a museum to go with it. They have numerous alums with deep pockets and they get pretty much what ever they want when it comes to BB. KA can't make those request now and never will. Just the sad state we are in.
