The Adams kid committed to Arizona State. Not unexpected.

Good thing Teki left. We wouldn't have been able to unsuccessfully recruit him.

I've heard it is between us, Iowa, and UVA...Florida and ISU coaching changes apparently knocked them out...and Arky is in a bit of trouble.

If we get Sneed, I like our chances with Cook and vice versa. That would be potentially huge.

Sneed tweeted a top 5 of Creighton Illinois Kansas State Witchita State Xavier. Tate off to a good start.

Fml

I'm guessing we didn't really want this kid and we've got our sights set on some kid from West Plains in 2018. Helluva shooter and fundamentally sound.

FWIW, on TB a few days ago the word was that we had backed off of him. Why? I don't know.

Because we found out he wasn't coming?

With only 2 scholarships to give out I would prefer to take 2 bigs this cycle. Rosburg graduates so even if Mizzou gets Cook there will still be size issues.

I like the potential of Gak as a defensive minded big that can develop as he physically matures.

Only take a wing if 1 of the wing players transfer and you have 2 bigs on their way here.

Size wise Sneed looks to be similar to Walton in this class, not sure how the 2 compare skill wise or athletically.

We couldn't recruit a big this season. How are we going to get two next year?

How many bigs did Mizzou target last year? Seems like Mizzou only went after 1, he did commit to Indiana. So it was a miss.

Just seems like they need 2 bigs in next years class.

We took a flyer on about 5 or 6. We couldn't get any to commit on a dare.

Off the top of my head?

Swanigan. Zimmerman. Bryant. Kapita. Morgan. Eubanks I think. Maker. Gates. Davis. Thomas. I'm sure more too. And some will say we never had a chance with some of these guys but it doesn't change the fact that the staff spent time at their games and I think some even came and visited.

I'll make a deal. I won't give my thoughts on missing out on Sneed if no one tries to push some BS about how it's not a big deal we missed out or some other excuse. Deal?
