Yea I agree that there won't be 5 double figure scorers. Just that there are 5-6 capable of doing so.

Unless one guy is averaging 15+ a game. I expect about 6-7 guys to be in the 7-12 ppg range.

Mizzou is trying hard to get Kyle Alexander (the 6'10 Canadian Center) in on a visit. He's visited St Bonaventure and Rice so far, and is scheduled to visit Tennessee this week. He has interest from Pitt, Michigan State, and Duke too, but I believe all of them have filled up by now. We're definitely not done recruiting for this class yet. We have 3 visits left and it looks like they're trying to get best available.

Alexander would be the ideal signee at this juncture. Without question, we need another post player.

Absolutely, if we could get Alexander then the prospects for next year are not nearly as bleak.

I'm not sure that he adds a ton his first season. But his second season & on he could really be a difference maker.

Think he would get pushed around a little much in his first season. Similar to the current freshmen.

I'd like to see a big in the freshman class. Yes, he'll get pushed around a bit his first year like the other freshmen and like the other freshmen, probably won't contribute much the first year. But I'd hate to be in a spot where we have 0 bigs in 2 years. This will at least give you a big for 4 years.

Good. We probably need two 150s type players per class and a 4* every couple years to be competitive.

From reading on PM, we met with Outlaw yesterday, but it doesn't seem like he's got much interest in Mizzou. So KA is meeting with Walton today to extend an offer, and I'm not sure who they want more between Walton and Eubanks, probably Walton since there's much less competition for him. After those 3, I assume would be Alexander, but there's still a chance another person leaves from what I've read so we could take more than 1, and the staff is also talking with Murray since he wouldn't commit until July/August like MGC did last year.

Wit the new signees and possible final commitment does it appear that Rosburg could be out of the regular rotation?

Yeah I'm just not gonna say anything about in state kids and 5*'s and keeping that at home but it sounds like there is one coach that might be able to do that and at a school that at least historically is no where near Mizzou.

You're going to have to decide that for me?

Also, any bigs on the radar besides Alexander?

Not sure if you were responding to me or just in general. To be honest, I don't even know the names of who have committed recently much less who we're looking at. Pretty much checked out when Bryant, Tatum et al. checked out on Mizzou.

My post was just venting my jealousy I guess more than anything over the fact that it looks like Howland, in his even shorter time than KA had with Tatum, has convinced Malik Newman to stay in state and go to MSU. Just wishin' it rolled that way for Mizzou once in a while is all.

The kid at MSU is a legacy. His dad played there. Also lots of talk that he won't qualify and will play overseas instead of college.

For the record the kid is denying reports that he has committed to MSU.

Still need to find a way to get high end MO kids interested in staying home.
