I would think it eliminates Syracuse. But to be honest, I'm more concerned about UK.

We can only hope there is a possibility after watching this JV team play this year.

RT @RussHoops 2015 SG Kobie Eubanks told #Rivals that his final 5 schools are Missouri, Texas, Oregon, Georgia & UCLA.

That would be a huge get, but SG is not what we need. PG and C/PF

Mizzou needs everything.

We don't have a single player that can play point so I agree.

We don't have a single player that can play with their back to the basket so I agree with that too.

But we also don't have a single player that can shoot the ball so I wouldn't say no to him.

PM was told we want Jolly more than Eubanks and won't take a commitment from Eubanks unless Jolly moves on. That's right, we want a 3* with offers from SMU, Tulsa, and UTEP more than we want 4* with lots of top 25 offers. Idk, just seems odd to me.

Jolly is WAY underrated. Missed his junior year due to illness. He has top 50 level talent. When the rankings come out he will be the biggest mover.

I wonder why we are waiting to offer then? Maybe coach doesn't know who will come back and how many open scholarships he'll have next season?

Jolly has a comitable offer as I understand, Mizzou just won't take a commit from Eubanks until Jolly makes a decision, that's how I understand it.

Tatum highlight tape. It's nice to dream about what could have been at least. Hard to believe this kids started his high school career as a PG and just never stopped growing.

What's the update on Bryant? I know he narrowed it down to 4, but I didn't see if we were even trying to still get him or have just given up.

My guess, and it's just a guess, but he'll end up at UK assuming some guys go pro after this season.

This will be the test for KA. Can he recruit. Tatum can be a fish in a pond at UK or he can the Big Fish at Mizzou. It seems simple to me and I'm sure most of the Mizzou board where he should go, but if KA turns out to be a terrible coach that can't get along with his players it maybe an easy decision for him to choose a place like UK or KU.

Loved my college coach even though I never played. He is the reason I chose to go where I did. We will find out if KA can be that kind of guy like GP.

I'm fully realistic that 1 year is not enough time. In my own mind, I have always put the top in state kids as KA's litmus test. If he lands Tatum, Cook & Porter, I'll say it was a smart hire. If he can't seal the borders at all with these top guys, well I'll figure that out at the time.

LOL, if KA can pull off something no coach in our history has achieved, you will consider it a success? When in CBB history has any school sealed a border? Definitely not Mizzou, I can think of 4 elite players that stayed - Peeler, Sundvold, Stipo, the one Rush brother. Could have missed some right now though. Everybody else from Bill Bradley and Jo Jo White to recently with Beal and Otto, have gone somewhere else. KA has a lot to prove but pulling that tri fecta is not a good base line. If he gets 1 that will be success, 2 would be awesome, if he gets all 3 he will have a statue outside the arena someday.

I agree. But the players must respect their coach. If he is having troubles with his team not respecting him and the coaching staff that is a problem. That will lead to recruiting problems. KA needs his players. If that means he processes more than normal so be it. I believe it will be a 3 to 4 year process. It should get a little better each year.

Yeah, I had thought double digits this year, .500 next year, NIT year after and NCAA in year 4. I don't know if that's possible at this point but maybe. His lack of recruiting at this point really concerns me. It is going to take one helluva sales job to convince a kid like Bryant to come play for a 7-23 team.
