Does Cam Biedscheid get to play the whole season this year or does he have to sit some of the non-con games out?

Sits out the first semester like Brown did. I believe the first game he can play in is the Illinois game.

Rumor is Cam can get a waiver to play 1st semester.

So, we really need a 3 guard to start the season. Hope we can fill that spot before it's too late.

This seems to be how the team is shaping up:

1. Clark, Rector
2. Bello, Wright
3. ????, Biedscheid (Starting with Illinois game)
4. JW3, TJ, Gant
5. Rosburg, Post

Hope Fuller and Anderson can pick someone up quck. Ricky Kreklow and D'Angelo Allen seem to be our best chances at filling the spot.

Who would everyone like us to get? Should we fill it with a seasoned vet or get some potential with a Freshman? Or do we try for another Juco Guard?

This would be good and would probably improve our record by a couple of games, IMO. But it's impossible to predict how the NCAA will rule on these things.

Thoughts on Ricky Kreklow possibly transferring back to Mizzou?

Anderson is on record saying he is not looking in to taking a bunch of transfers.

5th year transfers aren't what he was talking about. Those kids can come in and provide depth while taking up unused scholarships. They don't affect recruiting. No reason not to take one unless they have attitude problems.

He can come in and provide a quality 10-20 minutes/game. What I remember about him from a few games I went to his freshman year is that he played hard (especially defensively) while out on the floor. He may not have been the best, but he gave his best effort. I have no doubt that he would buy in to KA's philosophy.

When Ricky was here, he forced Coach MA to give him more minutes because of his length and effort and the defensive side of the floor. Personally, I miss defense, bring him on over. Also, MizzouNetwork did a feature on Bello and they talked about thin learning a new position, PG. Be interesting to see if Clark continues to be the inconsistent player he was last year, (decision making, turnovers), if Bello doesn't finally find his role in college.

I watched a few California games on the Pac12 network and it is my humble opinion that Kreklow played some spirited defense, something the STAT lines can't really demonstrate. The downside is that he never really shot at a high rate.

Rickey is meh and will only be around for a year. I don't see us having a great team next year so I would prefer to start building for the future by giving the scholarship to freshmen (Allen if we can get him).

Any confirmation that wright is sticking with his commitment? It was nice to see Gant reconfirm.

Sounds like he is going to meet with Anderson before making a decision. He is still unsure.

Even if Wright stays and Punter re commits, we have room for both Kreklow and another one.

I don't know how much effort the staff should put into Tatum tbh. He's a long shot. I might leave it up to them. Put out some symbolic efforts for the sake of "Missouri" and then move on to more likely prospects. He's probably a one-and-done and he's probably not coming here. I don't get a good sense of ROI on him.
