Lost to MoState again in another midweek loss. Huge weekend this weekend. 3 against OM at home this weekend. Winning the series has become a must.

Then we have SEMO midweek who isn't a shabby team either. That's now become a must win IMO. The following weekend is @LSU, where I expect to get swept but we may now be in a position where we have to win at least 1. Then the last weekend is against a somewhat hot UK at home that is another must win series.

Don't win 2 of 3 against OM and UK and beat SEMO and their season is almost assuredly done short of a solid showing in the SEC tourney.

My guess is they do that and TJ saves his job for now. Fail to do that and I see Rhoades making a change.

It sounded like Rhoades was right in line with your thinking Reedus

I think you are absolutely right. We have to get those series wins. It has been pretty disappointing seeing the team suddenly flatline.

Baseball loses 4-3 but win 2 of 3 against OM, winning 4-2 and 18-1.

After all the midweek losses the sweep would have been nice and solidified our chances at the NCAA tourney. I'll take the win though.

It's really close man. My gut tells me they're in unless things just fall apart. Assuming we beat SEMO, assuming LSU wins all 3 and then assuming we win 2 of 3 against UK, I think we'll be fine. Even with the losses, our RPI and SOS has been going up playing nothing but top ranked teams. That should put us about 6th overall in the SEC at 16-14. Should be plenty good to get in. If we fall apart and lose the last 7 games, it probably won't be enough.

I think d1baseball had us a 3 seed last week, so we were dropping, but after taking 2 of 3 from OM we should hold steady, if not move up a bit. We'll probably drop down slightly after LSU assuming we lose the series. Comes down to that final series against UK at home. They've been playing well. Their last 3 series they swept a bad UT team, took 2 of 3 from a very good UF team and managed a win against Vandy that we couldn't do.

Here's the last projections. Interesting that they have Rhoades former place of employment in the same region. 1. TCU 2. Houston 3. Mizzou 4. Stony Brook

I wanted to take a quick trip back to Baton Rouge with my Mizzou fan cousin for this week, but timing and money (or lack of on my part) prevented that. I really like that Saturday matchup between the two awesome freshmen.

I wonder how many of the Mizzou players Lange may have faced in HS/summer ball? I think Bouman may have some former teammates on Mizzou's team, but he's unlikely to pitch on the weekends anymore.

His high school team did play Bond and Benes team and won 5-4, though I don't know if Lange pitched or not. They could have met up in summer ball too. The other two he might have faced before is Howard and Klages, though they are a year older and from the STL area as well.

Looks like Lange did pitch and Bond seems to have been 1 for 2. Completely forgot, Benes would not have played in that game as he had torn his ACL.

Other than him actually pitching against Mizzou this weekend, I figured yall would be a fan of his since he decommitted from Kansas to go to LSU and beat Kansas in his first career college start.

I'm rooting for the kid, when he's not playing Mizzou. I think it's awesome that he's earned a spot on a weekend rotation, and at LSU at that.

Dear God,

Mizzou loses 8-5 to SEMO. These mid-week games against mid-major schools are absolutely killing us. If we get swept by LSU this weekend I have to believe we're likely missing the tournament.
