Vinny Careswell is the coach at Lee Summit West. The article I read said he was Coach Boehm's long time assistant.
Hopefully the two went to Mizzou games and camps together. This could help BO recruit Lee Summit West.

He's going to Texas Tech, can't transfer to an SEC school because of the SEC's stricter JUCO guidelines.

I believe ford was one of 4 wideouts who were commited and Thomas a (maybe small) possibility would push him far down the depth chart. Kid wants to play. All of our wideouts are younger so he might never get a chance too since he's not an elite talent.

They either hit him with a position change or Gardiner's commitment confirmation edged him out and they are in good with Thomas.
Ugly business but this at least gives Ford a chance to find a school.

Keep dreaming on Thomas, he has shifted to Illinois, OSU or Bama. Everything I've seen or heard indicates the ship has sailed.

OSU and Bama are out from the reports on PM. Supposedly down to Illinois and Mizzou, but may have to do JUCO no matter who he chooses.

Ford is better than his rating. Maybe his size and the classification of his school hurt his rating.
