Talk about a big hire, dude coached some top notch DL at OU. Signed 3 4* DE's at ASU this year too, as well as bringing in Williams for a last minute visit. Seems like another top notch recruiter, hopefully more loyal than Snake Wilson too.

Simmons is announcing tomorrow at 5.
Think he is Nub bound though.

2 of his recruits were early enrollees, but he's got a 4 star JUCO DE still out there.

We need offensive studs!

Dylan Hays is probably going to sign with us, but we might lose Simms.

I had seen the ESL twitter say something the other day about being the first to offer carries some weight with their players. Gave me concern about slow playing Simms.

If we could swoop in and steal Dylan Hays from CMSU and Missouri State that would be ballin

I have heard from a reputable source that Simms has serious academic issues. No matter if signs with Illinois or us, I doubt he's on either campus in August.
When was the last kid from ESL to not have academic issues? Remember Beckner had to get his ACT number in June. Taylor and Strong had to go to JUCO. Also word is that Jeff Thomas is in the same boat.
It really sucks for these kids that ESL high is so substandard. I wish they and the other kids at the school had the resources and support network that other kids have. And don't forget about the teacher's strike earlier this year that didn't help.

Hays committed to Arky.
Ok. I guess that debate on Hays is over. Arky must have been his dream school and he took the offer instantly.

Took a walk on offer. From what I saw, he walks on to Arky and they will give him a scholarship for his last 2 years? Idk, the site I saw called it a 3 for 2, and compared it to a grey shirt. Not too torn up over this one tbh.

New OL name is NDSU commit Dillon Radunz from MN. 6'6 and 265. I know NDSU is FCS but at least they're the best FCS team and beat low level P5 teams year in and year out. Seems we're desperate for another OT.

NDSU would be close to a top 25 level program in the FBS.
They have a QB that will be a top 10 pick this year.
Has the same size as the guy we lost to Ole Miss.

Exactly, could be a good pickup. NDSU is a better offer than several P5 schools imo (kansas).

I wouldn't be surprised if NDSU was invited to the big xii in the next 5 years. They would be in the top half of the conference right now. I'd gladly take a lineman they thought highly of.

Don't see how they bring in enough TV sets way up there. But they have given some Little 12 teams fits in recent history. Didn't they beat Iowa St. 2 years ago, and Kansas St. the year before that?

New 11th hour offer to Douglas Tucker DT out of Dallas committed to san diego state on Jan 20. We're either desperate or trying to get him under the radar.

Blessed to say I've received my 1st SEC offer today from the Missouri Tigers

The only way the b12 would ever consider NDSU is if Texas, ku, and OU all left and they were desperate to backfill. Even then its extremely unlikely. Being good in div2 football has nothing to do with being attractive in conference realignment.

We want him at OG apparently. He also tweeted immediately after the one that you posted that he's 100% to SDSU and will sign with them tomorrow. I have a feeling this class will still be offering kids after signing day. Will be interesting to see what's left out there. Surely there's a 3* or two that we can get in on.
