I don't get what we're doing wrong in St. Louis (and I mean Mizzou, not Kim). I know it's greasy and slimy. But we have to get better in recruiting the Lou.

I hear ya 808. And it goes back like forever. Hell, I don't even know who was coaching at Mizzou when David Lee came out, but there's definitely a problem there that's deeper than KA and KA hasn't been able to fix it quite yet.

What is the draw to Iowa?

My brother went to school up there and I don't think there's any way I could live up there for 4 years. A weekend was enough. Not to mention I haven't even given Iowa basketball two thoughts for longer than it's been since Mizzou pulled a 4* out of STL.

McCaffery is one coach who may have a similar job security to Kim Anderson. And Iowa City is a colder, less friendly Columbia with a slightly better arts scene.

It's a great school. But I doubt Cook's recruiting profile was looking at the educational side of it as much.

I just remember making that drive in a snow storm and because there wasn't a damn tree around, you couldn't see a damn thing with the way the wind whips it around.

seems a bit like a Teki type of player.

Jackson seems like the anti Teki. Very raw offensively. Will do all the dirty work. If Teki wasn't scoring he really didn't provide anything to the team.
Jackson looks like he can defend 2-4 positions, more in the mold of Allen.

Before Tigersessssssssed jumps me for saying that,
LOL I could have handled that differently, but if you are going to make fun of commits, you should be able to handle some push back. I think it was Confucius that said something about giving it versus taking it.

I know. I know Tigersesssssssed. We backed off of him in favor of Smith or Jackson or whomever.
I'm pretty sure I posted I thought Cook was overrated months ago. That was back when we were considered in the lead even. A kid like Smith has a higher ceiling than Cook if he develops. He also has a lower floor though if he doesn't fill out and improve. I like the Jackson commit.

Who have I said the staff cooled on after they committed somewhere else?

Fair enough and good points.

I'm just having fun Tigersessssssssssed. I don't mind the push back. Hell, I've been wrong more than I'm right so it really ain't nothing but a thing.

I looked at Rivals and asked some Hog fans and didn't look any further. If he had an Arky offer, then he had an Arky offer and that makes one less thing that will cause me to lose sleep tonight.

Thought Kapita signed with a pro team in Europe. He was ineligible for the fall term, but there was a chance you could of played winter term.

Kapita bypassed the whole thing and signed a pro contract

Could be. I just don't find anything attractive about the state nor Iowa athletics

From March to maybe October, or 4.5 months that college is in session.

I'm not sure sucks is the correct word. It was pretty common knowledge that he would not qualify. This was Tony Mitchell part deux.

Reed Nikko is visiting this weekend. Supposedly Mizzou will take his commitment, if he does so.

The only other player the staff is currently recruiting is Bam. Other than him the staff has essentially moved on to 2017.
