I remember the same thing happening to Hansbrough his freshman year when that thug (since kicked off Bama's team, I believe) threw that suplex. Or whatever it was. Hansbrough turned out just fine. Be patient.

New name Justin Smith 6'7 WR from Georgia. Not rated but is being recruited for basketball mainly. According to a post on PM he has an offer, but I can't seem to find the article the guy references. Check out his hudl above.

Post Dispatch article with a run down of various recruits. It's the Post Dispatch though so probably nothing in here that everyone didn't already know.

Stewart didn't play at all last year. Who knows about what the future holds for him.

It is Steward. And his future is known. He had hip debris that was scoped and removed several weeks ago. Pinkel said Steward will be completely back to normal. He will be a signification portion of the offense next year. He is the 2nd fastest player on the team.

I hope you're right. Some guys' careers just never seem to get traction. Hope his finally does because that means good things for Mizzou.

was mentioned but I'm not sure people realized he was going to be an "early" signing and will count against last years scholarship class.

Witter is too damn small.

he is definitely a "flea" back, which explains why he didn't get many other big time offers, but as I recall, backs like that have given us fits in the past.

The problem was, for the last several years we've had nothing but scat backs. It's good to have one or two of those guys as a change of pace but you need some bigger backs to get the tough yards. (I will give RH credit in this regard though)

Hopefully, Steward, Abbington and Strong can add that dimension for us.

I don't disagree, I hope those 3 all work out for us as bigger more powerful backs, but Hansbrough was very good this season as a "tough yard"- short yardage down back, when we needed that yard for a first down or score, more often than not he got it done. Murphy could also run with good power for his size and speed. So I'm not sure it's been that big of a "problem" for us as a number of other factors.

In case everyone missed it in Dave Matter's chat, he said Beckner's grades won't be a problem. Good to hear. Hope he's right.

I'm assuming this is his 247 coming out of high school. Couldn't find any other Marcell Frazier on 247. If he was class of 2012, signed with UNLV but had to go JUCO and redshirted his first year (2013) that would make this year his freshman year, like the HUDL says.

If him, was a 2* coming out of high school.
