IJ will be a junior next year. If you don't get Malik, there is no back up point guard unless you keep Tookie. I'm not a fan of small point gaurds but his hands may be tied this year.

Anyway, I think upperclassmen that aren't more than solid should be in the conversation. If you have a freshman and a senior anywhere close to the same level you keep the freshman.

Malik, he's coming. IJ will make a fine backup PG. No worries.

If Donnie Tyndall really is out in Tennessee, I hope they poach Pearl from Auburn.

If that AD wants to save his job he better do something like that.

Their AD needs to stop churning through coaches. He has created a meat grinder and their fans are becoming, maybe already are, the blades.

Maybe they hire Rick or Rick or Rick AND Rick.

The only reason Malik would have considered OM was if at least part of him wanted to stay close to home. He wasn't going to commit career suicide by playing for Ray.

The kid wants to play in maroon.

If we get Malik, Kasongo, and Dixson, and keep the three signees we have now, we have to lose at least three from the current roster.

Weatherspoon + Malik + Kasongo would be a pretty serious injection of talent.

Also I wonder how Zuppardo's rehab has gone.

We don't need to lose post players.

Zuppardo, Daniels, and Tookie would be my wish list.

At least two would start. I think Gavin will do really well under a good coach, I would kill for another inch or two on him though.

Yeah I would kill for another inch or two but it's just not that easy.

Oh wait...basketball.

Ndoye is dead weight, if we have to rely on him as a big then we are playing for year 2 anyway.

I disagree. I think he can provide depth this year.

I think he can provide depth but it isn't quality depth. I don't see us winning 20 games if relying on him is a big factor.
