Also, major props to Eli Wright for coming on the way he has in the last couple of games. I want see a couple of guys come out of the pack and take on bigger roles like Q did last year.

I am just glad to see the effort level increase on on D, if we can just keep working on rebounding this team will surprise some folks.

Admittedly, I haven't watched this team much this year.
I thought our beat down handed to us by UCF was a bad loss, but it looks like UCF is a pretty good team. They're 6-1 with their only loss coming at the hands of #1 Nova by 10.

Lehigh was a bad loss ucf is an NIT team. They are solid.

ETSU is a pretty solid team, but we should have won that game.
IJ Ready is a seriously big hole on defense. He is just too small to stop most D1 guards.

No reason to have peters and ready both in the game for the whole half. Time for peters to take over and Ready to come in occasionally. I wish Q had looked even halfway like himself. I hope whatever was going on with him is over now, because it didnt look like he was trying. Had to be banged up or whatever.

Can we get a basketball thread? We just beat Southern Miss in Jackson tonight like 89-44. At one point tonight we went on a 35-0 run.
Granted, Southern Miss is in the middle of an NCAA arse raping. Much like what we are about to witness Ole Miss go through.

USM is horrible, but I think we saw a glimpse of our future with these guys. We just need to be patient, and it will happen.
