But if I hadn't I probably would've left at halftime.

Why?

Next year, I'd put 75% of the students in the upper deck so nobody would really notice when y'all leave.

They damn sure don't deserve the seats they get now.

I am trying to upgrade my seats and I was told that the entire student section was moving to the new end zone next year but I don't see how. They are doing some serious re-seating next year on the East and West side.

Yeah, I think that's the plan, which means they must be substantially cutting the number of student tickets.

Because when you have to get into the game 2 hours early your whiskey never makes it the the second half. If I gotta take my arse in there at 4:30 I should be able to leave when I want.

Plus I would've been tired of watching that shitty breed of football we've been playing this year. But to bitch about students leaving early is just dumb. It happens everywhere.

It didn't happen at MSU two years ago, and it isn't like only half of them are leaving.. It looks terrible and there's no reasons, just excuses to justify it.

Defeats every single reason to attend the game period.

Some of us were not lucky enough to go to school there. I would have loved to go there and get the chance to sit in the student section. There is no excuse. I wish the students understood how lucky they are to be there.

Call it what you want, but I feel like I have every right to march my arse right out the gate if I'm sick of watching my team perform like shite against a team we should easily handle.

When I was younger I watched USCe smash us by like 50 points. We made that longhaired hippie Tannehill look like an all pro in the NFL. We didn't leave.

You absolutely have every right to leave when you want. However, you don't have any right to say a peep if student ticket prices are raised $100+, we lose on a program-changing recruit because our students suck donkey balls or you have to bring your binocs because Stricklin puts you on the top row of the upper deck.

Good on you. But, you buy a ticket; do what you want. Leave - stay - free country (well - until 2008)

Don't care. As long as it goes to a good cause.

Almost laughable.

I was also sitting in the end zone and watched Eric Moulds make a diving catch for a touchdown. I have been a fan through the thick and thin. I enjoy reading the rant for the info but most of the posters are idiots. I wonder how much these people really know about football. I have tickets to the Ole Miss game and wouldn't miss it even if we lost every game from here on out. My dad and me try to make a game every year since 2004 but we missed last year. They haven't lost when we were there. I hope we are a good luck charm again this year.

Nah, it is laughable. I just had to use it to try and make my point.

Although, we did have the consensus #1 basketball player in the nation, who we do have an outside shot at, at a football game a few weeks ago.

I appreciate your honesty and willing to talk about it. I don't think we can single you out on here, because it's obviously the majority of the students thinking. I don't think anyone is saying you don't have a right to leave. I think we are just disappointed that you, along with 90% of students, would want to leave the game.

That's your team, man. The same team you waited 2 hours in line for. It just doesn't make sense why the students would leave them hanging when they needed them, a rowdy & drunk fan base, the most. The 4th quarter.

Considering the outcome, it's probably best we couldn't have any recruits there anyway

Somewhere out there, there's a fan who thought she was too cool to stay for the second half of the game and then found herself degrading in a liquor fueled devil's three way.

makes me happy.
