Nick W. saw action today in the losing effort to NMST. He looked over anxious, to be expected. PLayed ok., hopefully he will get his mojo up in this one game. Terrible loss however. Perry looked great in the second. That's about it.. At home!

It was in Jackson. A shitty place to play but we play there to meet some of our fans because we sell them season tickets and they won't even show up to Starkville.
Pathetic that Greg Byrne destroyed our student section and local fans out.
New Mexico State will win the WAC and be a NCAA Tournament but it won't be a pretty NET loss I agree.
The rest of the SEC is so chaotic that we can win quite a few. And we'll need to now.
I'm disappointed but I figured the first game back with Nick would be rough. So stupid that we had to deal with that 20 game suspension when he was starting to get it offensively.

If he ever learned how to play without committing stupid fowls he might have NBA potential. How does one foul out in 10 minutes of play?

Winning the WAC? Who cares if they do or not....minor conf.

This is no team to get excited about from where I sit. Yea, the SEC is on the short end of the stick this year, so perhaps we have a chance to be in the top half.

Greg Byrne changed the student section from having about 1/4 of the court side lower level seats from half - court to behind the basket and then roughly the second level the same. The total number of seats were about the same (3,000). The new set up is they are in end of the coliseum and they are behind where we shoot in the second half (stupid). They should be behind the goal where our opponents shoot in the second half. Plus the noise the students make is just not the same when it comes from one end of the Hump.
The old section was way more engaged with the game than they are now.
The other issue is none of the season ticket people come to the games so those seats are now empty most of the time and it makes us look bad with a sparse crowd even though the tickets were sold. If those seats had students in them then it would look so much better especially on TV.
