I just saw the old deal compared to the new deal. Damn, we were getting screwed. Maybe Bryne wasn't so invincible after all.

More that Byrne was renegotiating when our "brand" was totally at rock bottom. We'd burned the bridge with Nike -- Russell was obviously terrible -- and UA wasn't interested in a middling team that had totally sold out the stadium exactly once since the expansion opened in 2001(07 Bama game)... Nevermind how shitty our merchandise sales numbers had to be under Russell because, let's face it, it was Russell. It's crazy how much more popular MSU is now than it was in 2008...

Byrne has also been quoted saying that he had bigger problems to fight at the time.

That said, the new contract is pretty good. Definitely moves us up to about our "market value" overall...

I like Adidas, like the new deal, and love the problem that was addressed with all of our shite looking like aTm.

How does our deal stack up with Baylor? Id say that would probably be the Adidas benchmark at this point.

I only own two, but I like mine. I'll be sporting mine with the Omaha patch this weekend.

Baylor only does basketball with adidas. I think we are their 3rd largest college contract behind michigan and a&m.

I have one. Can't handle the huge old man sleeves. And i bought it on an early saturday morning, wore if for a day, and it mysteriously got a nice hole in it that day. The only gameday shirts i have bought that last are really basic and under armor.

I have one Cutter & Buck gameday shirt and never again will I waste money on that shite.

I do have a button down shirt with the Mississippi State embroidery on it and that one is pretty nice.

I'll stick with the Adidas gameday polo. I actually like those.

Ole Miss posters, do any of y'all know what your current deal is with Nike? Would like to know to see how it stacks up with this new Adidas deal.

I think OM could've done a better job of negotiating our deal... Sounds like Sricklin got yall a pretty lucrative one... Last year's run in Omaha paying big dividends for sure.
