How impressive was Peters last night from row 3?

Peters looked really good. Step slower than Monk and several steps slower than Fox but good ball handling most of the time. Witherspoon just never got in rhythm but it's hard to when they call ticky tack fouls every trip down the court. Second half though, we were under Kentucky's basket and both Monk and Fox, at 6'3" could leave the floor 4 or 5 ft from the basket they were still more than elbow high with the dunk. Amazing.

He may not be as big or athletic, but slower is most definitely the wrong word to use. That kid is fast as lightning.

Then Monk is a step faster than lightning and Fox is several steps faster than lightning.

Peters is just as fast as Monk and Fox and there's no debating it. The difference is the first step of he UK kids. They're longer and their first step puts them a step ahead of Peters.

So you put all 3 at the top of the key and they all go to the goal with the ball, who gets there first; given Monk's and Fox's first step puts them ahead? How about we settle on they are all great athletes with Fox being the quickest to the goal? That does not mean anyone is slow. An F15 is faster at altitude than an F16. Both are very fast but one is faster than the other. This isn't that difficult.

I suppose it would be inappropriate to say that Peters looked somewhat "pedestrian" tonight.

The 2 quick fouls certainly hurt.

He didn't have a good game but it looked like him and Herard were the only ones that gave a damn.

The referees are taking over the game and it has become difficult to watch. I don't think he had any fouls after those early ones though.

We had the double gut punch the other night, basketball team loses its 5th in a row and baseball team blows big lead in 9th to an OVC school.
