Glad we're back to competing. There's still some growing and gelling to do, but I love the direction Howland is taking us. Not sure how many of you care about basketball.

I watched some of the LSU game. I kept waiting for something bad to happen.

That is me every game. Last night, we fell behind by 7 early, and I said, "Well, here we go." But we rallied. They Arky scored the first 6 out of half, and I said, "Well, here we go." But we rallied.

Our young guards can score. Ready is good ballhandler and distributor. This team has miles of potential.

The less Ready plays, the better our chances are. We have to use him a lot now, but to be our best, peters has to be the guy bringing the ball down. And having ready at sg is pointless. I hope the backup guys improve as the season goes and ready can be used less as needed. Our half court offense has trouble getting good looks with Ready running things. Peters/Q/Stapleton is a pretty nice combo. I just hate to see peters and Ready in at the same time, but I understand why we have to do it right now. Peters is gonna be a bad arse for us.

NIT or bust for this team. Very young. Very talented.
I believe Adam Amin said we're the 2nd youngest team in the nation behind BYU.
A tourney appearance would be awesome; this team is certainly capable if they keep playing like they have the last 2 games.

This team has been fun to watch. Haven't been able to say that for quite a few seasons now.

Big game today. Are people finally going to show up for a game? Attendance has been pretty awful for a while. That doesn't help much on the home court advantage.

Really nice win. That was closer to the old Hump that I remember. Who knew Herard had that kind of a game in him?

ETA: some Kentucky guy started a thread on the SECrant that Monk was the most exciting player there is. Hell, he is not the most exciting on his team. Fox is incredible when you are at floor level. All of the UK freshmen are skinny and they won't make it to the weight room before they leave but damn, they are athletic.
