I saw Dr. Linton this afternoon and came so close to asking him about Dak, but he had a for serious look on his face & looked like a man on a mission, so I didn't bother him.

My buddies dad wh is a big booster said he could be out for the rest if the season upto 16 months with the surgery that may be required. Also don't forget it's in his non-throwing arm so I wouldn't call it a career ender

I have a buddy in Starkville who was at umc with me and he is friends with one if the beat writers for state. He said it looks like more of a damage issue than just a pinched nerve. He wasn't sure where(brachial plexus or elbow), but he sounded like it was a fairly serious issue. Take that fwiw, just relaying what my friend was saying. I asked him about Russell and his answer was " I don't know what's wrong with that pussy", so take that fwiw as well. Wish both a speedy recovery

Russell came back in for a series after his "injury" so there's that.. He wasn't clutching his arm and still had his helmet on the rest of the 4th. I hope Mullen didn't pull him for protection of sorts due to the possible seriousness of Dak's injury.
