Well, I'm from BR and was affected by Katrina so that's a no go for me. Any other ideas. Been wanting to get banned for tGrind.

I got put in timeout for saying Miles wife looked like Norm McDonald today. I dunno why that's supposedly bad. It isn't a personal attack, and Norm isn't a bad looking man.

There would be some humor in every single grinder committing rant suicide after the game.

What? Katrina was a light shower in BR. The only reason we were affected was because of the influx of people from New Orleans.

Exactly what I'm talking about. People like that getting offended by a Katrina joke on the rant is a fricking slap in the face to people who were actually affected by it.

Let's please stop talking about it. You can't understand how much it affected me and my family in Tupelo unless you were there.

Traffic was a bitch after Katrina. I don't know how many extra people were in BR for the months following the storm, but the roads couldn't handle them very well.

I am incredibly hungover right now.

Free drinks in the Glazer Club at the Tulane game last night.

I ain't worried though. Katrina was bad but the people who still regularly reference it are just looking for attention.

One quick story though:

I'm driving down Bayview Street with my Dad on September 3 or 4, 2005 (don't specifically remember). We take a right on Lemoyne Road, and then another on McClung Street to the spot where our house used to be.

I shite you not, the only thing left standing was the Oreck XL vacuum cleaner. The house was gone, our roof was across the street, there was a Ford Thunderbird in our yard, but the damn Oreck XL vacuum cleaner didn't move an inch. I swear on my life.

It was still in the spot where the closet was, except there was no closet.

I've never understood this angle of "Who had it worse". I'm not going to talk shite about something that devastated a city an hour south of my hometown to a bunch of rant tards. Take a lap Dynasty.

Now your "angle" is about New Orleans? Backtracking after you specifically said "I" and "BR"? You take a fricking lap.

It's not about who had it worse. It's about people getting offended that weren't even remotely involved in the situation when people who were, aren't.

Never took it offensively. Frankly, I don't give a shite. Regardless of how bad it was, it did affect people in Baton Rouge, thus the reason I wouldn't start a thread about it on the rant. It's just bad taste in general.
