I think we all learned something today here, and that's the ballerina of life..

Also: let me be the first to say that I had full faith in Dan all day. I knew he'd come through in the clutch.

I would feel a lot better if we just hadn't whiffed on Lashley. I don't get how you can't close on him.

Getting Simmons is huge. But unfortunately doesn't change the fact that this is the class that should have been.

Take care of business with Brown and Lashley, you probably end up with Raekwon too.

We'll we are up to 31st on 247 composite team rankings so that's not terrible.

It's higher than Daks class was ranked so our fans need to chill. We should have done better, but with the talent we brought in last year and who have returning we should be fine

Agreed....Simmons will provide immediate competition for other guys and will improve the depth for sure. Big time work by David Turner and friends.

Simmons will start midway through the year at MSU. Probably moves to DT.

Would be surprised, he has the size for both and we will need him at DE.

I wouldn't be. We are constantly doing this to DL.

I will say, when you look at our class, almost all of these guys are in the top 20-25 at their position. If they hold that spot then we will be just fine. Having a top 25 player at every position will keep you in competition every year. Especially considering the supporting talent in the class before them.

Class is a little stronger than it looks.

He should just give Turner control over the offensive and defensive lines.

Not that I trust anything over there - but saw some posts on GP about rumblings of Alabama not accepting Knott's paperwork... Possibly being offered a preferred walk-on spot.

Yeah going to act like that wasn't posted. Should have stuck to my guns and kept that one to myself.

Yeah they got some unexpected commits that were ahead of him.

So I assume we'd be back in the mix, as long as he doesn't want to pay his own way to Bama/
