Jamal Danley will unofficially visit for Southern Miss, take an Official to OU on 9/13, an OV back at MSU for TAMU, and UF on 10/11.

Now, Hevesy will call and cuss him out because he had gotten his hopes up.

I mean, what's the plan for this guy? Does he think he's going to come in and start next year?

He's projected at guard, and if he does play tackle it will be RT.

He's not taking a spot from Clayborne or Malone, sooooo I guess he's hoping Robinson plays RT this year and next year that's where he plays?

I don't really see him doing much more than providing depth...

Gotta keep Hev off of the social media for a while. He is probably checking Danley's instagram every 10 seconds. Sending him snapchats.

The top-ranked JUCO offensive tackle reverted back to his old plans, announcing on Twitter that he will take his visits before deciding on a school.

But Danley had plans to commit to Oklahoma.

He said his coach and father advised him to wait, and convinced him to take his visits.

"They just told me it was a major decision and I should take my time," he said. "I was ready to go."

Danley said Oklahoma is recruiting him "the hardest by far," which is what sets the Sooners apart.

"Mississippi State just needs to start showing a little more love," Danley said when asked what the Bulldogs needed to do to catch Oklahoma. "I talk to Oklahoma multiple times per day."

Hevesy sitting on his arse? Color me shocked.

Hevesy...always on the ball. Hughes probably had to take over and smooth things with the family.

Show more love?

As stated earlier, I don't think he ever ends up starting here so whatever.

ETA: I would rather have another high school offensive lineman.

Shelby Christy tore his ACL. I would post about it on the rant...but he's not a starter.

Yeah I was just coming to post that.

It really sucks for him because he runs track as well.

So what do y'all actually think Danley will ever play at State if he decides to come here?

Malone is likely to start at RT this year. Next year, we lose Beckwith, Clausell and Robinson. He could easily come in and start at RG or RT if Malone moves over to LT next year.

The updates that Paul has gotten from Mullen and Hevesy after practices says that Malone hasn't practiced at RT this year at all (He has however been told to learn both in the playbook).

RT is a three way battle between Senior, Robinson, and Warren. Beckwith being the backup swing guard.

So we lose Clausell (LT, which Danley hasn't played a down of yet), and Robinson (RT, which if we stick with Malone at G I would be Senior wins that battle) as the two starters Danley might play RT. At an 86 Rating, I just don't see him coming in and being a dominant LT his first year.

Now if he has a good season and gets a huge ratings bump, this is all null and void.

I know our depth charts are obviously so misleading, but the updated depth chart had Malone OR Robinson at RT. I should've known better to base anything off the depth chart.

Yeah those things are all jacked up. I'm not sure if the coaches are providing false info or if Noblin is just fricking it up.

Anyway, I just don't think Danley has a starting spot locked up for the next two years and Hevesy's not blowing sunshine up his arse so he thinks there are greener pastures in Oklahoma.

Good luck with that by the way kid.
