it was still a good guy for MSU to get to come. A lot of students like him I'm sure.

I have never understood why we haven't done this before.

However, when we finally do, we schedule it for a THURSDAY night. Not one mother fricking recruit is going to be in Starkville Mississippi on a fricking Thursday night.

Doubtful.

I like him for the lyrics. Also, Biggie/2pac was the height of rap in my eyes so that's just another positive for me.

2 chainz raps like that on purpose. He said he wants to be the "comedian" of hip hop. I'm a huge fan.

I don't really see why it would be that difficult for in state recruits to make the concert.

That's what I'm saying. He blatantly rips off Biggie lines and says he's "just paying tribute".

I think I'll "pay tribute" to Nas and record a song called The World Is Yours

Agree to disagree. To each his own and what not.

I also enjoy the entire dirty south, gansta rap, genre. Juicy J, Three Six, Project Pat, Rick Ross, Jeezy, Gotti, Gucci. All that shite has the greatest beats.

Get some subs and in the car. The good ole days.

I believe Illmatic was referred to as

That's a terrible song. It's really the only song like that he made.

My favorite rapper is Nas. Aside from him, I like Tupac, Tech N9ne, Cunninglynguists, Bone Thugz, Wu Tang, Clipse, and... Jadakiss... I think that's enough for now.

Oh so you're one of those hip hop purist huh? Not a single guy on your list has done anything of note in 10 years. I do agree with your Wayne statement. That said, your hip hop taste is that of a 38 year old new yorker. From a historical standpoint, I do appreciate that you know your stuff.

The one with the kids singing sucked too. Plus he had 1 line in my favorite Mobb Deep song that has always made me cringe.

It's not that I'm a purist I just don't think a lot of modern rappers are that good and I don't delve into the underground like I did when I was 15. I do like some of what comes out of Odd Future.

Plus whether or not someone's popular doesn't influence whether or not they're making good rap. Several of those on the list have put an album out recently.
