Some threads do not bump, how is that so?

Just wondering how that defect can be fixed.

It's probably easier to restart a whole new thread in the rant than have to go through channels on a board.

It's called "anchoring" threads.

It means that when a new post occurs in the thread, it doesn't pop up to the top of the list and, instead, drops down a spot.

The admins anchor many threads that are stupid, but not inflammatory. Additionally, they anchor many old threads just so people cannot bump them.

Thanks for the info. I disagree with the implementation though. Should be reserved for trolls.
