yeah but we were coming off 11-2 sugar bowl year in 2012, started 3-0, lost 1 string, 2nd string, and third string QB
and Hargreaves had a pick in his first game and started every game thereafter.
Cowart went to AU off an 8-5 year. team picked to win the SEC, started off 2-2 and could have easily been 1-3. Cowart wasn't starting and has done little statistically.

Hell we were worse than this Auburn team. But they stayed the course and didn't complain when things got tough.
With the way McElwain is going with recruiting early, I don't think we need Cowart IMO.
I don't know if we "need", him, but I wouldn't feel bad if he was at Florida in a year or two. And the direction Auburn is going is worse than us, man, I'm telling you.
They've had a championship head coach fired and now they have another one who did decent but is going in the wrong direction.
