It's called integrity. The only leadership problem we have on this team is at the Head Coaching position

I am also ex military and I agree completely with your statement but the only thing I would say is seeing Driskel on the sideline he doesn't engage his teammates at all. I went to the Bama game and it was tough seeing him sit there on the bench after going 3 and out repeatedly not saying a word to the offense. I despise Winston but watch the Clemson game he was the most engaged player on the FSU sideline talking to all his teammates and supporting his QB. He shouldn't of been on the sideline in my opinion and he was probably telling them about the crab bar the recruits were getting but either way he was engaged. You also got to remember these guys didn't go through boot camp and being honest may have not of had the discipline in their lives growing up to want to do the best they could do regardless. Some of these guys have been told since they were young teens they were all that and the world revolves around them.

It's a big difference from having a guy who's been there and a guy who hasn't been there,'' offensive lineman D.J. Humphries said. ''There's some antsiness. We have to protect him better so he can actually see stuff. Jeff is older and sees stuff easier than Treon. With Treon, you have to make sure he gets optimum time to see everything he can see.''

It's been admitted -- it's not really up for debate anymore whether or not they give 100% for one guy.

Now it's just a matter of pissy little kid politics "I don't like him" type shite.

this team can get better. My question is does Roper actually believe in JD? You'd have to believe that with JD performance the last 2 weeks Roper has to be shrinking the playbook to what Jeff can actually do (which at this point is the read option). That's a negative no matter how you look at it.

Treon royally screwed us over (if this is true)

Our offense screwed us over when they played favorites instead of doing their damn job to the best of their ability.

Do you think that this has been because people haven't been "giving our quarterback more time" to throw the ball? If our offense plays at a hundred percent we would be a whole frick lot more productive.

The fact is, they haven't, admitted that they haven't, and are the entire reason we can't trust our quarterback at this point. His first year he was super accurate (13/16 type stuff) and then suddenly fell off the deep end.

This year he's been hitting players between the numbers and they just don't seem to be, uh, motivated to catch the ball.

If he's being throttled for missing open receivers, the receivers need to be equally throttled for dropping perfectly placed balls.

Straws, Ackerman must be reading this thread. I listened to his podcast today and he is basically saying everything we have been saying as far as the effort issue goes although he is saying Matt Jones runs hard no matter who is on the field (which he is spot on about). At least it is not just me, you and gatorbait_007 that sees the effort issue on the field. About time someone from the media is calling the rest of the offense out.

My 2 cents

The offensive players didn't appear to play as hard for Driskel as they did for Harris on Saturday.

The next wide receiver who drops a pass right in his hands should be benched for the rest of the game, same with an offensive lineman that blows a block and gets the QB sacked.

This team has no leaders, I will even go as far as to say there hasn't been a leader on a UF football team since Tebow left.

We should stop recruiting players just because of how many stars are by their names and recruit some with character and leadership ability.

Muschamp's teams remind me of Doug Dickey's teams
more worried about themselves than the team. Under achievers that will never live up to our expectations of them.

I've noticed a trend of lack of effort extending a bit further back, but it was blatantly obvious on Saturday.

One pass is harsh, but after the second it should definitely be considered.

I think the real lapse in leadership is from Muschamp himself and the coaching staff. We need a real head coach with some tact, experience and gonads.

Folks forget Meyer had the inmates running the prison when he left....it had gotten bad. A lot of coaches have gone or are going through this with their teams.

Its the society we live in now and makes yearn for 1960s style football. At least our defense is playing hard and is the saving grace.

There probably has oir will be a come to Jesus meeting with Muschamp giving everyone an earful. I would rather lose the rest of the games and start over than to let players dictate how they are going to play. Sit some of the malcontents down and suspend them if necessary.

Jeff is a very good student and is the posterchild for college athletics...he has never had issues with being disrespectful and goes to class. Boom needs to put his foot up some azz until they realize its shape up or ship out....I don't give a crap how many stars are on their resume.

Dude I never saw anything like this with Meyer. Playing players who broke the law is one thing -- playing players who are clearly not apart of the team and more apart of cliques is another.

Until it got blown away last week. I'm going to just assume Tennessee ain't that good of a team

That's the only tool he has, and it doesn't fricking work. We've had the same jawing bullshite since he first got here. The team still does not give a single frick.

I don't care how good they are, they can all go.

Some teams are chalk full of 3 stars and produce better results than us -- and they do it by playing as hard as they possibly can. Who knows what their incentive is, but this political middle school stuff needs to stop.

I said a few weeks ago: Who would want this job? Full of expectation and accustomed to failure. The pressure would be immense, and I think we're just beginning to scratch the surface of the actual problems behind the scenes.

Mullen is kicking arse with a bunch of 2 stars and 3 stars. Hell, they have 1 star and 0 star players that are contributing. And he's doing this in the best conference in the country.

Of he could do that with that kind of talent -- imagine what he could do with Florida's talent?

Some guys are cut out to be HC, some are not. This is the best conference to test that out in.

I still like Muschamp as our coach, but Mullen would be the first coach I'd call up if Foley fires Muschamp at the end of the season.

A Mullen/Roper offense would be insanely good

I think we win the east and Boom aint going anywhere then. We have

LSU- not very good & in the Swamp...look at replays of last year and you will see they injured Murphy's shoulder by almost picking him up and dumping him on the ground just about head first...should have been flagged. Murphy should not have been on field the next week against Mizzou...he could barely lift his arm.

Mizzou- lost to Indiana and look at their stats against USC...they won but look at offense & in the Swamp

UGA-toughest SEC test...but their strength is right in our wheelhouse In Jax

USC-average team with no defense and in the Swamp

Vandy away will be giving up the booty in 2nd half
