Personally I would love to see UF run the table and see and Aggy v UF SECCG. We still owe you for 2012 . Arkansas and LSU are the only difficult SEC games left on UF schedule. Arkansas is a coin toss and LSU will be favored. Gators got this though. LSU will have some karma headed their way.

Even if we don't win, as long as we don't get blown out I'll be happy. 2017 was our year where we should have seen significant process (we've been without a QB since Grier left, and then after LDR went down).

I'd like to see anyone other than Bama or LSU win the West, it could easily be A&M soon. Their offense is always minted.

Well, we had to play this game to be eligible for the SECCG.

LSU is almost guaranteed not to win the West so it's not that big of a deal for them. It was actually more important for them to have a cupcake that weekend to make sure they will be bowl-eligible.

They are now 4-2, with upcoming games against Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and Texas A&M. They could lose all five, ending the season with a record of 4-7. More realistically, they'll somehow pull off a win against Ole Miss or Arkansas, but they'll still end up at 5-6. No bowl.

Had they not agreed to reschedule us, they'd be facing 4 tough SEC opponents and a cupcake, giving them a worst-case record of 5-6. If they win just one of their SEC games, they'll be bowl-eligible.

This is literally the best outcome for us, and worst for them even though they think it's a good thing.

They weren't winning the West this year, and are still searching for a coach. Next year, and then the year after next will be away games for one of their toughest opponents. Even if they win, we're set up way better.

We could play every game next year at home and we're still gonna be an average team. Its not gonna fix the OL, terrible recruiting or bad coaching against good teams. You guys said all off-season that recruiting would improve once the offense did. Well it's midway through the season we're supposedly improved and yet we haven't had a commit in 2 months. How do you guys explain that???

Recruiting is an issue - and losing the LSU game hurts.

Coaches are out on the trail this week - hopefully they gain some ground.

That being said - it matters more how they close than what is happening mid season as it relates to recruiting.

I've already told you. Fire Nuss, Nord, Summers, Collins, Rumph and shannon. Hire elite coaches and recruiters. We're having the same problems along the lines like WM but Mac's defensive staff isn't getting top talent at DT, LB or safety.

You're a fricking dumbass.

Shannon and Rumph are elite recruiters. Nuss is a great offensive mind. Collins has had a ton of talent and hasn't ruined it. We've had a top two defense in the SEC both years under Collins.

I'd part ways with Summers and Nord after the season.

But you're a dumbass if you really believe the shite you post.

And our defense has looked better under Mac than it has Mus. Literally, since Muschamp's last year, every single category has improved.

We're only half-way through recruiting, but when you start to win (and Mac has had to win with some pretty shitty offensive talent), the recruits come.

He would rather we suck and not admit he's wrong than watch us succeed.

Hence: Fake Florida fan.

Mr Foley, Mr Belichick of the New England Patriots is on line 1 and wants to discuss employment opportunities with the University of Florida.

No they arent. Shannon has never been an elite recruiter and Rumph hasn't gotten any great DTs but his DE recruiting is pretty good. He's never been an elite recruiter just look at history of commits on 247.

We haven't beat anyone with pulse except UT/OM

That vaunted defense looks great against bad teams. Against real teans with a winning record:
UT'15 419 27
LSU 423 35
Alabama 437 29
Michigan 503 41
OM 328 10
UGA 223 3 against a terrible QB.
UT'16 498 38

Did Straws just say Nuss was a brilliant offensive mind? The same Nuss that was forced to leave Bama and oversaw some of the worst offenses in recent cfb history? Lol. Anything he says is irrelevant.

As for recruiters

Tosh Lupoi
Charlie Strong
Steve Addazio as an assistant
Tee Martin
Rodney Garner
Eddie Gran
TRob
Tim Brewster
Ed O
Dameyune Craig
Venables

Etc

If Mac had 4 of these guys on staff Wed be killing it.

LB- Tosh
TE- Brewster
DL- ED O
OL- Steve A
DC- Strong.
That is a staff of great coaches and recruiters

You would never hear a peep from me.

So you didn't like Will Hill, Dom Easley, Shariff Floyd, Chaz Green, Dowling becoming gators. Because he was the primary recruiter for all of them.

First string quarterback.

Not getting first downs tends to hamper a good defense. So basically, the times we played those teams we didn't have a starting quarterback.

The two times we did we won.

Weird.

It's almost like the back up quarterback is the problem.
