Way better for us to play in BR this year.

This is another rebuilding year and anybody who knows Florida Football knows this. Having two consecutive home games when our team will be better is actually a huge boon for us.

Next year, our entire Offensive Line will be upperclassmen, we will finally (barring injury or transfer) have a quarterback who actually has played a year in our system and finally: We're getting LSU with their interim head coach.

This is actually really good news for us.

It's not that big a deal. LSU fans are still in total melt though which is weird at this point.

How in the hell are they still melting. I guess South Alabama must of been their super bowl.

Oh man I disagree. We're still working out a ton of problems on our offense. I'd rather take the opportunity to play their interim head coach on their field and have them on ours next year when we have more experience. We have a decent chance of winning there barring more injuries, them coming to Gainesville next year could be a really tough game.

Then they have to do it again the next year. If I had to choose when to play in BR, it'd be this year.

It's all they do, and if they lose this game the Rant will be so goddamn quiet.

Posted this on the main board, but I mentioned last week that the reason Foley wasn't more amenable to playing in BR this year was LSU didn't want to give us home games in 2017 & 2018 to make up for it. I'm really not surprised that once Alleva backed off that this went through.

Foley wins again except this time it's lowkey.

1. Our defense was banged the f up. Our d-line had about everyone out.

2. Our offense is still not where it needs to be in comparison to next year.

3. They have an interim head coach this year, so if there's a year to steal a win in BR it's this year.

4. We've already pretty much said that winning the East is gonna be hard, it'll be way more manageable next season.

Damn, this is way better news than I had anticipated.

Welcome, dude. We love all commentary that isn't trolling.

LSU used to be near the top in my hierarchy of SEC teams; but, because of all their crybaby tactics, they are now near the bottom, just above Rotten-crotch & AlaBama.

They'd be lucky to get away with 4 losses next season.

Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss and Mississippi St. on the road in one season.

Yeah UF got the better end of this deal long term no doubt. That's why they are melting so hard. Trying to deny the truth. Poor dumb bastards.

Just win the game

I'm so sick of the West narrative

Thought the damn Vols were gonna pull it out against Aggie when they forced OT

And yes, still disgusted and embarrassed about out Ole Miss game...

How is next year better with a harder schedule and a young team? We needed that game for recruiting which has been dead since the end of August. Foley should've told LSU to frick off. Now I hope Mac lays a 100 on them.

LSU is still the same team that lost to Wisconsin and Auburn (without Auburn even scoring a TD).

Let them have their fun for now on the Rant.

I'll have mine on November 19th.

In the grand scheme of things, I don't think it matters much. They've had a lot of success in the swamp in recent years so I don't know why the LSU fans care so much.

Straw, its nice and all that they come to the Swamp next year and the year after...but when you have tix for THIS years game, like I do...then it sux. You are basing next year's years team on offense and you seem to have forgotten that we do lose a lot of talent on defense. We will still field a decent defensive team...but not quite the same.

But no reason we cant go to red stick and kick their arse on Nov 19th. Especially if they have lost a few conference games and have given up on the season. We'll see. I wanna see Mac get our team ready to play as if their hair is on fire.

Bro have you seen the next year?

We have 3 Away games, 1 at a neutral out of state.

Kentucky, Missouri and South Carolina are our away games.

That means the toughest opponents (now LSU among them) are at our house with an offense, finally, comprised mostly of upperclassmen.

It dampens the blow considerably.

Weather sucks, but we'll literally have 9 games instead of 8 next year. This year was already a rebuilding year, but people like you don't get it.

We would have 0 chance to win the East if we did this, I prefer to have 5% than 0.

Cheer up, dude. This is way better for us in the long run.
