We don't know that. He was only in for a few plays.

The QB had zero to do with the million reasons the Gators lost on Saturday, and it all starts with the head coach.

The head coach, O line and horrible special teams lost that game. Every time the offense gained a little momentum, the O line sabotaged it with a false start or a hold.

I have thought Jones is limited passing since watching the first 2 games. Most of his completions are easy throws that were schemed open. With what Mullen is doing with him you can have a 75% completion rate and still not score much against a decent defense. Maybe AR doesn't turn out to be what we hope he is but I have a hard time believing he would end up more limited than Jones passing the ball and he is even more of a running threat than Jones.

I can already see the announcers pumping Jones back up again after some long passes against an outmanned Vandy squad and then us getting another reality check on that against LSU.

You say outmanned Vandy yet we’re in here saying AR should start over what he did vs bad teams.

I like AR, but if he doesn’t know the playbook then he’ll limit the offense more than EJ in the long run

what kind of 4* idiots are we recruiting that can't learn a playbook after a year? maybe we should be getting 4/5* recruits from the same pool Clemson, Georgia, Bama, OSU, Oklahoma are getting theres.

Justin Fields
Bryce Young
Trevor Lawrence
Jalen Hurts
Baker Mayfield
Deshaun Watson
Tua Tagovailoa

somehow these guys are considered "generational" QBs, but the ironic thing about it that is these guys all overlapped each other in one way or another.

fields might not have started his freshmen year, but he could've if Smart was actually smart about it.

Accept the fact that as long as EJ is healthy, he’s the starter. I did

It’ll make the season easier for you.

Franks/Trask all over again.... Dan picked the wrong one that time. And he's probably doing it again.

Which is probably true...

But again - the QB had nothing to do with what happened in Lexington last weekend

It was an entire all-around shite performance by the coaching staff.

Neither one can read a defense

The difference here, and it really matters, is that Anthony Richardson isn't attempting to immitate Kyle Trask when he's on the field like Emory does.

Emory has a higher QBR when he is pressured vs when he isn't, what does that tell you? When he has the time to analyze the defense and pick his spot, he takes too long and is in effective

I have noticed Emory is hesitant to launch deeper passes also even when the window is there. One guy on youtube that breaks down the plays says he seems to want to always go after those routes mostly where the guy is sitting down facing him on the throw. Reminds me of Franks a little except Jones is a real threat as a runner and doesn't launch reckless deep throws a lot like Franks would.

I see what you say D

But with AR in there even if he makes a bad read he can hold on to the ball and make something happen.

Plus he has a way better arm them EJ so let him get in there and get playing time if he makes mistakes then that is how he will learn and over come.

We need a play maker at QB right now not a run up the middle run to the out and throw the ball seven yards down the field.and go 18 of 20 for 140 yards
