Emory doesn't have the "it" factor and Vandy is the perfect opponent for a first start. Get AR the experience as the East is gone even with a Georgia upset. My guess is he will be Heisman material next season.

Unfortunately Emory will be back next season so unless he transfers. Next year will be the mess we have right now

Got to ride with AR15 and set up for next year. We are handicapped with EJ.

I think the noise may force Mullen's hand here if we lose @ LSU.

If we lose to LSWHO if I'm not sure we are going on the road and beat Vandy or USCe at this point.

I'm not here to defend Florida and this game. I wonder if you guys saw what I saw. AR15 came in and didn't do any more than EJ. They stuffed him just like they did EJ. They were prepared for the inside handoff and QB scoot around the end. They did not let us get outside and funneled things inside. I think they minimized the things that we were able to do to earlier teams because they didn't know better.

Every team from now on will try to do the same. We have to open up and start passing downfield.

They were playing the run more with AR in there it appeared as they feared him getting loose.

I do fear that. Even if he is from Gainesville next year is the year he could jump to the NFL after the season. Doubt anyone wants to wait around if they feel they are the better QB.

My guess is if Mullen keeps this up and they are still allowing FBS transfers with no waiting then he will have a very large NIL offer on the table waiting for him somewhere.

Who do we throw to? Nobody on this team is elite. We don’t have the Smiths, the Ridleys, the Jones, the Beckhams, the Metchies, etc.

Everyone of our WRs are average at best. And that includes Copeland. None of them can create separation.

Yeah people were clamoring for Emory any time Trask wasn't perfect last season because Trask couldn't run the whole offense like it is supposed to be run.

We were 24-32 on for 211 yards. Passing was not the issue.

Kentucky shut down our run game (171 yards) and no adjustment was made to the snap count.

15 penalties for 115 yards are not EJ5's fault.

Hate to break this to you, but Emory isn't the reason Florida lost on Saturday.

He was clearly part of the reason. Good passing QBs can overcome penalties against overmatched teams like KY. Mullen has little faith in him or he wouldn't have sat on the ball near halftime but Mullen is also very hard headed and always leans to experience at QB even with better talent waiting. He has done a Franks/Trask deal like 3 times as OC/Head Coach.

.....

Richardson doesn't fix any of the issues that Florida had which causes them to lose on Saturday.

And I agree that AR15 should be playing more and should start.

But Florida loses to UK regardless of who plays QB on Saturday.

We don't know that. He was only in for a few plays.

It's easy to come on here and complain about the QB, but our QB vastly outplayed their QB, so that is not the problem. I think Kentucky was just fired up and ready to play and we were not matching their intensity. I think it was kind of the opposite of the Bama game where we had the energy and intensity and Bama didn't, but we just didn't pull the game out at the end vs Bama and UK did vs UF.

They were both games that we could have won and it sucks to lose them both. I don't think we need to have any wholesale changes. Kentucky did really well vs our run game, but I still think we were the better team. We just shot ourselves in the foot at the wrong times, like the blocked kick and with 1st and goal from the 5 yard line.

Everyone wanting to make all these changes are crazy. Give Kentucky some credit for pulling out the win and quit acting like sore losers.
