I dont know what was worse, watching Michigan beat our arse all over the field or watching Will Grier sling the ball all over the field and nearly beat a good VTech team. Over 400 yards of total offense w/3 tds

I feel the kid made an honest mistake and Mac pretty much alienated him from the team after his suspension. Pretty sad when you look at the team now, we have 10 players on suspension for credit card fraud that will be welcomed back with open arms in a few weeks after committing a real crime. 1 of those players being Callaway, who is on his 4-5th strike it seems. So yeah, it sucked watching yet another UF QB transfer ball out in another uniform while we cant find one who can move this offense to save our lives. I do believe Franks will be a good one once we get the Oline to play better, time will tell...

As much as I hate to see former UF qbs doing well elsewhere. Will Grier's issues and why he was kicked off the team had a lot more to it than what was reported in the press. It was considerably more than taking Creatine from GNC.

You consider cocaine use to be worse than fraud? If so, then yes

Never heard anything about cocaine use.

imo drug use is drug use, a player got caught with weed and is still on the team. So this kid using Coke was the end all for him? No trying to get him help, and his life/career back on track? So much for that "Gators take care of Gators...

Supposedly the rumored cocaine use happened after McElwain basically pushed him away from the team.

Basically behind the scenes McElwain supposedly treated Grier like shite after the suspension was announced, didn't praise him at all in press conferences early in the season, like he did with Treon, and basically alienated him from all things UF.

Grier, if he did take coke, is at fault as well, but McElwain obviously was the biggest reason Grier left UF.

Kid was out for a year, Mac had time to get him help if that was the case. Imagine if we had Will for the 2nd half of last season.

I also heard from some fairly reliable sources that Grier's dad pretty much wanted a guarantee that Will would be the starter on his return. I don't think any head coach is going to make that kind of deal.

Not necessarily fraud but definitely the use of non approved OTC supplements from GNC.
