There are only three true freshmen wide receivers in UF history to record 100 yard receiving games. Reidel Anthony, Antonio Callaway, and Tyrie Cleveland. Two of them have come in Mac's first two years, with horrible quarterback play.

A testament to how poorly the roster was constructed, specifically at WR when Mac took over. And it gives some optimism for the talent that has been brought in, and hopefully, when we see good quarterback play from a guy wearing a Gator uniform again, we will see these talented wide receivers flourish and the offense explode.

Just remember the O-Line play, too. It's amazing we got anything done, but if Trask or Franks are even serviceable we should have a decent offense this year.

No excuses.

None. The roster on offense is finally on equal footing. It's time for that explosion of good offensive play that Mac has been building towards for the last two years.

Let the rest of the East talk like they did last year and watch us win it again.

The WR corp is clearly better now than what it was previously.

UF needs to find a QB, and the Running game MUST improve. UF just put together back to back YPG rushing seasons that were the worst in 15 years.

I got 131 downvotes in 2 days and I rarely post anything there

It's hard to run the ball when there's no threat to pass it. Especially in this offense, where I'm convinced that Mac wants to throw it around the park 35-40 times a game.

We were slinging it around that much with shitty QBs, I imagine he will want to sling it around that much whenever he finds a quality QB

I think it would depend on who Mac views as his playmakers. I think it is clear that he is a "get to player x" kind of guy.
