I watched the game again today. Plays were there late, we didnt execute.

1. Swain catces the ball at the 1st down mark, loses ground and gets tackled. Punt

2. Franks misses Thompson on 4th down when he had room for a nice gain.

Franks had a lot of problems in the game, and at least he didn't turn it over.

I think we ought to try Zaire again, honestly.

I don't think we finish 5-6 but if we do Mac is Fired. Strickland has no reason to keep him when he wasn't his guy any way. We couldn't even fill the stands vs LSU so I would hate to see the attendance late in the season if we lose the next 2 games.

To the mindless naysayers (by the way...how many alters are on this freaking board now?), here is a piece of information to put in your pipe and smoke:

Iowa State was a 33 point underdog and beat Oklahoma. Don't give me that shite they are better than us...I watched a few games that they played and they were pitiful.

UGA isn't a lock to win...that's why Vegas has betting lines or if it were automatic...no gambling.

UF's offensive coaching staff needs to go. There is no defense that changes that reality.

Nuss in the last 4 years:
Scoring Offense with Nuss, the past 4 years:
14-15 (Michigan) - #109, 20.9 PPG
15-16 (Florida) - #100 - 23.2 PPG
16-17 (Florida) - #107 - 23.9 PPG
17-18 (Florida) - #92 - 25 PPG (as of end of LSU game)

That is 4 years of CRAP offense. I mean, at this point, if the offense actually did magically improve, it would be a crazy outlier.

This man has failed miserably at his assigned duties, and should be removed from his position. Instead he has been given raises.

That responsibility falls on the CEO of the team...

If Mac doesn't make a change on offense he deserves to be fired, no matter how unlucky he has been.

And listen, the Grier situation, if he hadn't fricked that up we wouldn't even be having this conversation right now.

What do you think his offense would look like with Grier? Think it'd look the same? Probably not? So all he needs is a quarterback? Okay.

Grier chose to put ped's in his body.
Grier asked something NO HC would agree to
Grier chose to leave

Yeah if im the HC i lie, but then that looks bad when it comes out in the open so Mac was in a tough spot

The offense outside of 1.5 games with Grier sucked balls. Every QB Mac has brought in has looked awful. You're really wanting Zaire to play? Are you a masochist?

Grier got popped for cheating. He did his time. If grier wanted guarantees like Mac said he did why did Mac back down when pressured on what WG really asked? Imo Mac was lying. He was too arrogant and thought LDR was the better QB. He pushed WG out. He's a moron. Just look at Nuss and nord or how many chances he gave AC81.

You are so fricking dumb, TJ. The offense looked bad under Grier because it was bad for the last five years, it was McElwain's first year -- but Grier with the playmakers that have emerged? I like our chances.

Furthermore, you can't really believe that bullshite you typed.

Lastly: Yes, I want to see Zaire now that he's had more than 1 month of being on campus and isn't going against a top 10 defense in the first game of the season when he enters and has to almost throw every down because we're already behind.

Yes, I want to see Zaire, especially in an option game with jet sweeps, with four wideouts and Davis in the backfield. I think Zaire has the experience to at least calm the game down a little, and a better vision than Franks.

Franks can bomb, it's the last thing we need. We need a quarterback who can actually run the ball, get us a few yards when it'd be a throw away with Franks.

Hey reel ISU avgs almost 34 PPG, 300 yds passing a game, and has an offense at #60. We don't. We're #93 PPG, #75 in rushing, #95 in passing. UGA is #5 in run defense and #10 in pass defense. The only way we're beating them is if they forfeited or the defense forces turnovers. Something it hasn't done in 3 games straight and rank #88 in TO margin.

$5 that says he comes back saying there’s no defense in the Big 12 and this is the SEC.

Yes he needs a QB. How many fricking years does he get to find one? 15?

So far he has brought in:
LDR - no thanks
Appleby - LOL
Zaire - LOL
Franks - ?

Hell of a recruiter we got there.

And now all of a sudden Corral is the answer so god forbid if we want to change coordinators...

This offense looked the exact same with Grier. End of debate. Zaire is on Treons level. You're an idiot. Lol at you thinking nuss changes his offense. It hasn't changed once in 5+ years. He's not going run the option. See Treon, Devin Gardner and Zaire. All that option talk was fluff. No we need coaches who can coach. Zaire can't throw for shite and he's too slow to out run the OLs blocking. He's literally a 1 inch taller version of Treon. No thanks.

I still think the offensive coaches are the problem more so than Mac. We won't know for sure though until he fires Nuss and co.

He's the problem. He dictates the game plan, the recruiting, etc. He's hired these guys. Outside of Seider, Skipper and Dixon, they all suck. Mac has no vision for where we're going. He can't coach, recruit or hire a staff that can. He's the constant in every area.

Anyone thinking its only Nuss is a fool.

Mac is the coach. The guy. He has NOT FIXED IT FOR THREE YEARS AND ITS THE SAME GODDAMN shite. This moron cant even get plays in correctly. He is Miles like in clock management. He STILL IS NOT RECRUITING DEFENSIVE PLAYERS BECAUSE HE NEVER LEARNS FROM HIS IDIOCY.

HE SUCKS. Get him the hell off our sideline.

This isn't a McElwain problem -- this is a Florida problem. We haven't had a goddamn quarterback since Tebow (Grier doesn't really count).

So let me make a pitch to you, Slayer.

Last two years: Offense is well into the 100s, we have 311 pass attempts compared to 440 rush attempts on one year (2013) and the next year (2014) Matt Jones has more rush attempts than our quarterbacks have throw attempts combined.

Then you want a guy to come in the next few years and have a major offense with personnel gaps, you want a great quarterback to come in, and we're tossing it all over the place and the offense is moving every down:

When the last coach left us with literally bare bones offensive talent.

Literally, our entire offensive production has come from underclassmen.

Literally, we had to work to get quarterback transfers because like I said:

What fricking quarterback is going to come play for a program that has no playmakers at WR or in general?

It took him two years to get a 5* after 9 years of bad quarterbacks, back to back to back.

I never said that we shouldn't change up Nuss, not once -- I agree with it. But until we can convince big time offensive talent to come to Florida, we can't just indict him on the offense.

He lost both of his biggest impact players, and now a Freshman running back will get 1,000 yards in spite of limited and split touches.

Holy frick, man. Toney is the best player on offense we've had in a while and he's a 3*, Davis is a 3*. Give McElwain some time, it fricking sucks, I hate watching us on offense, I've hated it forever, but if he can make those players look like that, imagine what the frick he's going to do with a guy like Copeland or Pearce.

Iowa State would kick our arse if we played them next week. Their defense and offense are light years ahead of ours and their coach has a clue on how to mix things up. They just had a 3rd string QB (starting QB left the team the day before the game) move their offense, while Russell Wilson would be left for dead in this shite show.

What is it going to take for the HC to be accountable? Just give him 4 years no matter how much his team/coaches suck?
