Yep just watching GA a few times this season I think Bowers being out gives us a little chance in this game. The offense sputtered a few times until they started feeding him the ball.

Very true. We finally have McConken back so that should relieve some of the loss.

On Sunday, no matter who wins, the St. Johns river will still flow north because Jawga will still suck. the mutts.

Gators 24- Mutts 17

Who better to end UG's 2 year run than the Florida Fricking Gators?

I am doing everything I can not to get too optimistic. I know we aren't a great matchup against them. I know they have more talent. But damnit, I am on board with you UFMatt. We are going to punt the poodles!

Sorry guys!!

I have in every way imaginable tried to change my mind on this game. Unfortunately I can not Tucky beat our brains in and then the very next week UGA beat them into submission.
I see Florida struggling on 3rd down and UGA not allowing Florida to more then 80 yards rushing for the game.

I think it's a 13-6 type score at halftime then the Mutts come out and control the second half winning 37-16

The Island I live on is usually inundated with dog fans the whole week before the game. I haven’t seen any of that this year. Are their fans bored with the GATORS, or just taking a win for granted? It’s strange.

Legit question. UGA pissed off Spurrier enough that he hates UGA. I return he ran the school in Athens which pissed off Kirby. Which Florida player is next in line to continue the tradition?

Mertz seems like he could be a football coach in some capacity in the future.

Do you think he’ll have enough of a connection to UF to have that kind of hate?

Spurrier probably had extra hate for GA in addition to the rivalry because that loss in his final year kept FL from winning the SEC. He had a bunch of turnovers that game.

It's kind of crazy there hasn't been more than that one crazy ending in the Final minute or so of this rivalry game. Lindsay Scott is the only one I remember. I think we did keep GA from being able to tie us when they were deep in our territory at the end a couple of times since the 70s.

I think Jarvis Jones strip fumble happened in the last minute or two.

Just over 2 minutes so GA would have had a chance to maybe score if we did score and make the 2 point conversion. Prior to that turnover Driskel had one of his big time Driskeling performances that whole game.

It's time to do this. No matter the outcome we need to play aggressive if the game dictates that. Get the ball down the field and give the receivers a chance to make a play. We need Wilson to show out this game.
