I don't see a way UF wins this game unless the defense finally shows up away from the Swamp, and even if they do, the talent disparity is pretty big.

Mertz will have to play out of his mind for UF to keep this close.

Looking forward to putting our boots in Mutt's hindquarters! *Probably not, but I can dream*

Mutts may be without their best weapon.

We can dream

Georgia is going to eat Mertz alive. I don’t think he makes it past the first quarter. Our o line can’t stop a wounded duck. Look for a return to Billy ball, run it up the gut for three downs and punt on 4th and long. With our wet toilet paper defense, look for the mutts to score every possession.

Goals for this game:

1) Don't look like a pee wee team playing against a NFL team

2) Avoid injuries

Would be huge if they’re without Bowers. We have a slim chance to win, but I don’t think anybody knows how good UGA is this season. They haven’t played anyone that’s still ranked. We’ll need to play a perfect game and need some luck.

Bowers will be out for 4-6 weeks so that helps our chances a little

This becomes a winnable game without Bowers in there. It would still be a huge upset but possible if we keep throwing the ball down the field like in the SC game.

The only way this becomes a winnable game will be if The Mutts have a turnover party.

O hope they do somehow get this win but. I don't see it.

Hopefully this team can get to 7-5 I still think they can get 2 of these next 5

It's highly unlikely but they struggled a few times scoring in games until they went Bowers heavy. Even with Bowers they seem weaker overall than last year at least. I doubt they let us run much on them though.

It’s the weakest point of our defense. We’re still a very good team but nowhere near as good as the previous two years.

On paper the stats still look pretty good. Is it they don't get after the QB like the last couple of years?

Beck has had good stats and seems to be able to distribute the ball well. But I wonder how much not having Bowers presence on the field as a safety valve will have an effect on his confidence and demeanor.

I think Delp is really good too, top notch, yet no one is one Bowers level.

The DL in particular, is a step back. There are no first-round talents this year at that position. LBs have struggled to hold the edge and have missed way too many tackles. DB's are the strength for us this year.

Offensively, we're better statistically, but we can get off to slow starts. The injuries at RB have been piling up, and as of the Vandy game, we had one scholarship RB healthy. Bowers out hurts, so we'll have to have others step up.

All that said, we're still one of the better teams in the nation. We're just not the dominant team that we were the last two years.

Bowers is a damn cheat code. Bobo did a good job of scheming him open, but his loss will definitely be felt.
