It's my fault.

I was at the Swamp in 2018 and again in 2022.

Previously 0-2 against UK as a fan in the stands and decided to go yesterday.

Besides the game it was a good trip, just like how "Our American Cousin" was for Mrs. Lincoln.

I agree with all of this. The only other thing I would add is that we are such a young team, that we have to expect the inconsistency.

I also doubt we have seen the last terrible game of the season. We will most likely have a couple more stinkers. But I also think we will see a couple more games like Tennessee as well. This year is going to be a roller coaster. It will make alcoholics out of a lot of us.

But I doubt much happens in season. This off season will really determine the future. Is Billy going to follow in Mac's footsteps and refuse to make a change at offensive coordinator? Is he finally going to get a special teams coach? Will he be able to hold this class together and start the 2025 class off on the right foot? Those are the questions that will answer the long term viability of Napier as the head coach.

Great analysis of the near future. This season just needs to be looked at as a learning experience although we need show some improvement in areas of concern.
