I don't know what's worse, this or the fricking Arkansas game. Total lack of focus, lack of execution, lack of effort. I don't even know what to think/say at this point.

I feel like the offense played lights out.

This is the least physical defense we’ve had in the last 30 years. They take too many plays off and they tackle like T Rex’s. It’s incredibly frustrating to watch. This one’s on the defense 100%.

To be honest, Mertz is the only one I can remember this year that’s actually shown physicality, and then he gets hurt.
Our backfield doesn’t run angry and the secondary tries to tackle guys so they don’t hurt them. Literally watched a safety slow up so a Mizzou receiver could catch a ball, then hits him from behind and immediately went to the ground like the WR had run him over.
If they don’t have that killer instinct then fine, get them off the roster. We look soft and like we haven’t seen the weight room though.

ARK was just bad overall effort outside of the offense. Totally looked unprepared and disorganized everywhere else.
Mizzou just was an absolute bed shitting on Defense.

Yep that pathetic tackle attempt bouncing off the receiver is the story of this defense.
