I don't think any of us here truly realizes what having a QB that can throw and a FG kicker that can kick will do for a team.
(Which is kinda sad when thinking about our kicking and offense the last few years

UF had the worst offensive line in 20-30 years last year. You know what? They started 6-0.
Why?
QB play.
The Qb play elevated the play of the whole damn team. It's the most important position on the whole field.
Give the University of Florida a decent QB, and they can beat anyone.
Everyone said the ceiling last year was 9-3. This year there is no ceiling. The team is so much better than last year. There isn't anyone unbeatable on this schedule.
It all depends on QB play.

I am absolutely stoked. I also think I'm going to make it back for a game for the first time in two seasons. There's talk of a big get together for the LSU game, and I'd sure love to see us take it to the Fighting Bengal Lesters.

LSU will go down...book it. The series history tells us that and when you considered how close those three losses in a row were...its time to seek revenge. The Swamp will be electric.

I go back past the hiring of Vince Dooley (who had our number too many times) to Wally Butts, also the southern gentleman days of Shug Jordan, Charlie McClendon, Bear Bryant, Johnny Vaught etc etc. UGA had some really good teams....and some not so good...like us.
People are selling our stock based on the last half of the 2015 season ...its a mistake. Our defense will be about as nasty as last years team...maybe better with some offense helping them to rest more, instead of 3 and out machine we were the last half in 2015. Our defense didnt show up against Michigan in our bowl and I think they were tired of the inept offense honestly.
The only way to tell for sure is to start the engines and lets see who wins....I just love college football and the unknown.

We already saw improvements in year 1. But year 2 is usually when you really begin to see a team stepping forward under a new coach.
We're probably still a year away from serious playoff contention. But another SEC East title this year and then playoffs in 2017.
