what's interesting is the Smart wanted Belk at a position coach at Georgia and he turned Smart down. That could mean a lot.
i don't know much about him, but it sounds like he could be worth Grantham's salary.

My post was meant as a collective, as in new DC with new ACs of the defensive staff that teach tackling. Because like you said, just changing a DC won’t change anything.

Who teaches the Oline how to block, WRs how to run their routes, QBs how to throw??
Why you think it’s any different on the defensive side unless the DC has 2 titles like DC/LB Coach ect

If we are dreaming, let's go with Dan Quinn. Could also be coach in waiting. Gene Chizik would be a big name hire and is available. Charlie Strong, another on my wish list.

I’ve tried to be somewhat positive but it’s been a week of bad news haymakers, one after the other. At this point I honestly don’t want anyone back.
We re getting our asses kicked on and off the field with little to be optimistic about going forward.
