I'm really have no idea whom Mullen will talk too or Target.

But UF has shown they will pay very well for a DC so that should attract some suitors.

UF needs to put out an open invitation for coaches to apply instead of targeting coaches only to be turned down. Hire someone who wants to be at UF. It looks bad to throw out names only to be rejected. Basically, gather candidates and pick from them. Thoughts?

Defenses are sound, swarm to the ball and they tackle

I’m done with the exotic bs, get me a guy who’s scheme is sound, teaches guys to tackle n doesn’t let a damn WR walk into the EZ n enjoy his morning latte before catching a wide open td

I look for this to be about like the Roper situation with Muschamp because of Mullen being on the hot seat. I am not expecting any top target to come here. I think it will be someone we will try and twist into a top candidate after the fact probably. I think Mullen may even consider Robinson if the defense plays good against Missouri and FSU since apparently he is really liked by the players.

mullen needs someone that can recruit. not a "buddy" figure for the players.

Getting a big time DC is necessary for Mullen to attempt to win back the fan base.

How do we know CRob isn’t a good recruiter n TG rubbed recruits the wrong way?

I’ve seen former players post how cool CRob is and we’re seeing more n more stories of how big a dk TG was

if mullen hires from within, to me, that will scream he's phoning it in in 2022 because he doesn't expect to be here in 2023. risking your job on an unknown position coach for his first shot at DC wouldn't be wise if i were mullen (if he wanted to keep his job). it would look better if he hired someone with a proven track record.

Not sure if Robinson us up to the task but some other big football schools were trying to get him to leave us I think for the same position at their schools.

I think if he wasn't given the job that it will be someone like a Travaris Robinson at Miami or some DC with a good rep at a group of 5 school.

#Gators Mohamoud Diabate on @crob45's impact: 'He’s bringing tremendous energy, juice, encouragement to the players. The younger guys are coming up to me after practice, ‘Yeah, we like Rob.’"

A head coach in College that wants to keep his job should never I do mean NEVER let the players dictate who he should hire as DC. Because the players are not going to go to the AD and say if you fire our coach we are all transferring.

Not going to happen so Mullen should do whatever it is he needs to do to find the best DC/Recruiter that is out there and wants to be at UF

Narduzzi ended his answer, again, saying the responsibility falls on him as head coach. But Narduzzi was clearly displeased with Bates, Pitt’s defensive play-caller, after his team allowed 516 yards in a 44-41 defeat.

It’s gonna be a long search if you’re looking for a DC who’s never had a bad game
