As a fan and a commit I really cant watch this offense ???
I don't follow recruiting closely, no idea who Carter is. But if I remember correctly, the head to head results were not as important in recruiting battles between UF/FSU/UM - what was important was the quality of play, quality of coaching, and program trajectory.
There were several years FSU beat UF under Spurrier or when Spurrier beat Bowden, and both coaches brought in massive classes despite that loss - because both were winning and on a good trajectory and put quality teams on the field. FSU won the title in 1999 despite losing 3 out of 4 to UF from 1995 thru 1997. That 1999 talent they had wasn't built on the 1998 class.
This tweet would appear to support that assertion. Again, I don't follow recruiting closely. JMO.

I want improvement. If we had the same record but ranked 50th on offense I wouldn't care as much. 120th total offense is not improvement. My problem is we cant compete against competent teams right now with our gameplans and production.

Can you imagine if Mac went 7-5 with a phenom 5 star quarterback this season and a preseason all SEC running back?
Have you not paid attention to message boards about Smart. There are GA fans calling for his head already. I'm less than an hour from Athens their own flagship radio station bashes him constantly. His QB will have a year under the belt next year.
I'm sorry but I think Muschamp could've won the east one of the last two years at UF if he was here. Still doesn't mean I want him back the east is just that bad.
You talk about people not acknowledging what Muschamp did. Why don't some of you acknowledge that everyone expected better offensive production this year and we are not getting it.
Those "rogue" stats and rankings do hold bearing both on and off the field. If we cant score on offense and if we cant get a dang first down we cant win. Those crazy stat things prove we cant do that. When we are trying to get a transfer QB to come in here and he laughs at us and says he wont even do a couch visit with us or we have recruits saying they cant even watch our offense that is bad for us off the field.

Im willing to hold onto an investment as long as its trending upwards.
Youd expect to see at least a slight bit of growth in year 2 given other teams are out there doing more with less than what we have.

Did anyone see that tweet from Carter - he lists a story stating Hansard flipped to PennSt. Just an fyi.

Wrong. We lost Myers, Byrd Spencer Perry, Nelson, and Robinson. We're taking so many DBs because we have to because of lack of depth in the last two classes
DBs/S taken the last 2 classes.
Johnson-LB
Williamson- got torched The last time we saw him play
Putu- See above
Lenton- hurt most the year
Taylor-ST
McWilliams- done for year
Gardner- backup.
Mac is doing the SAME thing on defense that WM did on offense. Bad class management and taking projects. All this leads back to Mac. Gray maybe able to save it if the wheels don't fall off all together. All the problems we're having with this team lead back to Mac. If the offense kept the defense off the field we wouldn't have players being injured. He chose to roll with LDR and AA and to keep Summers.
