Eh, every square inch of universities is looking for a way to squeeze more juice out of the orange these days.

Boosting merch sales is always a huge part of these equations. While my preference is traditional color schemes, we're in the world we're in. Bitching about it is just yelling at a fence post. Besides, black uniforms are one of the lesser sins that could be committed in the quest for more revenue.

My biggest problem with blackouts his how absolutely ridiculous the team looks if they trot out there like Darth Vader and get their face kicked in. If the Gators are going to go there, they better win the game.

I believe the alternate uniforms motivate the other team as much as the team wearing them. They may even hurt the team wearing them because of the split second it may take to recognize your teammate due to the unusual color that they are wearing.

Well the uniform combinations came out for every game. No orange jersey or pants. All white or blue except for the one black out game.

Pretty traditional except for the black out. I am going to chill my opposition to the black alternate uniform. I am old and set in my ways and sometimes that gets the best of me.

It is for a good cause, Go Gators!
