Pitching let us down again, along with some pretty poor hitting during the middle of the game, and Jacksonville had several top notch defensive plays.
Caglianone had 2 homers, did all he could to keep us in it but Gators come up short.

Big game this afternoon, need to beat them Tiger bitches. Wind could be a factor, but gotta figure it out and win this series.

Great victory today, offensive stepped up big and Cags did his thing on the mound.

Playing the Noles tonight, great game so far, let’s hope we can get a much needed ranked mid week victory.

Well….
Terrible showing, as is the norm for mid week games. Run rule LSU Sunday, get run ruled on Tuesday??
Gotta get some pitching depth if we want to make a run, still holding out hope it’ll happen but that hope is slowly eroding. Bullpen needs to figure shite out, and offense needs to get off their arse in mid week games too.

Gators get the series W, Friday night walk off win, got run ruled Saturday, and just walked it off with a 2 run homer. Exciting series, pitching was terrible Saturday, decent most of the day today. Offense has been pretty anemic, need to get the bats going.

Got the first W in a midweek game since February, took down the Rattlers 10-7.

Lost 3 in a row to a shitty Mizzou team, all 3 were heart breaking 1 run losses.
This team can’t figure it out for a complete series.

There’s bad weekends where you just don’t have your stuff, and then there’s whatever the hell this was. This wasn’t even a series we needed to win, this was one you have to sweep. We may be the only SEC team to lose a series to them all year. Pathetic. Even worse when they sweep us in those dumbass softball uniforms.

Sully needs to shake things up in the lineup. We got some guys that are absolute liabilities at the plate. I’m not sure they even have a plan when they walk up there.

We won’t sniff Omaha again until we have real pitchers. Not throwers, pitchers. The only one who consistently pounds the zone is Neely. I’ve never seen a staff throw as many wild pitches, give up walks, and hit people when they’re ahead in counts as much as this group.

And I don’t even know where to begin with the errors and being out of position. It’s turf…you’re getting a true hop 99/100 times. We just weren’t ready to handle business and it was obvious. Hard to tell if we did a scouting report this week at all.

This team is a shite show, if, and that’s a big if if, we make it to a regional, we’ll be put out immediately.

Pitching is an absolute mess, it’s bad when Cags is our ace, he’s been great this year in spots but he should never be an ace pitcher. He struggles locating balls a lot and has complete breakdowns way too often.
Fielding was fantastic up until a couple weeks ago, then it went to shite. Dropped pop up today followed on the next play by a WTF throwing error is a good an analogy for this team this for the whole weekend.

Looks to me at this point and time that the 2 teams that were in the championship series last year.
That neither team will even make the SEC tournament much less the ncaa tournament

Florida getting sweep by a really bad Missouri team and Lsu is 3-9 in conference play.

Honestly I don't see either team turning it around

I definitely wouldn't say that at all about Florida, maybe LSU, but definitely not the Gators. This is our first Series loss, come on man.

Oof last night was ugly. The struggles this season definitely make coming short last season even tougher to swallow.

Since Sully has been at Florida this is one of the worst pitching staff he has had.

When your arms are not good neither is your team.

Unfortunately a down year for baseball.
Hopefully Sully can work the portal and have a better team and arms next year.
I'll be shocked if they make either the sec or ncaa tournament

Well, after a nice little losing streak we've managed to win 2 in a row, and one of those was a weekday game

Road trip to Vandy this weekend, a series win on the road could really set the tone for the rest of the year but I'm certainly not putting any money on that happening.

Not a good start to the weekend, crappy pitching yet again.
Exciting ending, bases loaded, couldn't make anything of it.
Time to go take the next 2

I am still hopeful that they can turn this around and make the tournament. I never would have believed that pitching would be this bad for the entire season. Go Gators!

Well, we snuck in one W this weekend. The schedule doesn't get easier from here, Ark, Tenn, then KY.
