Agree, I dont take into consideration the first class where Mac had a few weeks to get whatever he could while trying to hang on to what we already had.

Saying that the 2015 class was his class would be like saying that the 2014 season was his season. If he's only part of the team for 1/12th of the year, you can't say it's 100% on him.

This is the most myopic, retarded argument against him that you have. It is partially his class, but only a very, very small amount.

That 3/4ths of the class signed when he only had a month shows you just how awful Muschamp left the team.

That's the point. It's his class. He managed to salvage a top 20 class after only 2 months that was ranked 106th when he took over.

He had to take anybody he could get. Times were desperate because of what the previous staff did not do on the trail once they were fired.

He had 6 commits when he was introduced. He landed 15 guys. 1 didn't qualify. You guys can't claim 3*s as successes and then turn around and say those aren't his guys when others don't pan out. For instance what about all the guys from the 2016 class that haven't done anything?

2016 would be a better example of Mac's recruits just because it's a sample size of the whole recruiting cycle.

8 out of the 25 players from that class are looking like busts, and it's early enough in their career that it is hard to call them that at this point.

17 of 25 guys playing a lot this early is a really good number. Usually you want around 10 good to great players in every recruiting class and the rest to be quality depth. You just hope that there's more quality depth than there are busts. I think that the 2016 class has been solid for us to this point. So that kinda busts the narrative you were trying to create.

Recruiting has been fine. Not phenomenal, but fine.

The LB position is weaker than it has been in a while, and it looks laterally slow to me, but they are young, so maybe it'll look better next year.

DL looks fine.

Secondary looks like it will be fine too. Those misses in 2016 really hurt, obviously, but they obviously fixed it the next year. Safety has been an issue for this staff though, hopefully someone emerges.

On offense, I think the OL is disappointing, but RB is good. WR is good. TE, they just haven't found someone yet.

I think the whole thing looks better if they find a QB. That is literally their biggest failing right now is not finding a QB. All other factors are not as important.

They have to find a way, despite the impending doom of the next few games, to hold this class together and make it a solid top 10 class. THEY HAVE TO HOLD IT TOGETHER.

OL can improve, but it is way better than when he arrived. K.Gamble i think will be a good TE when hes ready

I think it's going to be held together. Maybe one or two guys, but if they keep Corral they keep the class. Plain and simple. And I think Corral is as locked in as it gets.

it's definitely all on franks. he was in a position the last two games to win it and just can't see the field. if he could only play solid we would be 5-1 easy.

i like franks. he has upside and as good of an attitude a player can have, but he's got to start delivering on a consistent basis. at some point it's on the player, and i'm hoping the light comes on for franks.

it looks like corral will have every opportunity to be qb1.

Awesome, another 3* debate in the recruiting thread. UF currently has the #6 class in the nation for the 2018 class. Dear lord.

With all the firepower on offense. The defense sucks due to all the 3*s playing. That and terrible coaching

Ab. So. Lute. Ly. Not.

The defense doesn't suck, you clown. We just held Texas A&M to the fewest yards and points that they've had all season, you fricking moron.

Outside of Alabama, we held them to 130 yards less than any other team. Held them to their lowest points outside of Alabama.

Our 3*s played lights out on defense, and to say they suck because of them is just pisspoor, TJ.

Our special teams suck because of poor recruiting and shitty coaching. Worst special teams ever with two NFL guys at kicker and punter.

Special teams suck because of the coaching. If you give effort you have good special teams. Our special teams coaches aren't getting guys on special teams to play with effort.

Well, that would be accurate if the defense actually sucked. ST is a different story, sucks because of coaching and don’t know how to utilize the personnel/speed.

Defense held A&M to half their avg.

Shut down LSU in the 2nd half
