Stewart's been a known gator lean it's gonna take more than that to show a turning point in recruiting. I clearly said what kind of take would be a good one for us. Also, go frick yourself.

Man, there's a problem here with dudes who are wrong about recruiting and the Gators in general who seem to be nothing but angry when good things happen for us.

When this is your first reaction after your team gets a commit from a highly rated player at a position of need, its a little silly.

I know good news doesnt sit well with some folks...especially if they are not Gator fans....but I have some info I learned yesterday from a couple of ex Gator players that the sky is falling crowd is going to have to eat a LOT of crow when this is said and done..or not.
I do not trust 17-18 yr olds much...my stepson is now 17 and I can assure anyone that if he pledged a commitment...he would keep it..or get my foot far up his azz
but others I dont know personally?
Blades would be icing on the cake and Henderson also..dont count them out yet....its not what I heard or feel right now...its a rumor at best, but Im hoping to collect a bent penny from dmb soon
We have a lot of talent on the hoof at UF right now and our coaches have been busting their butts off..thats one reason why I snap when I read shitty posters and bashing of our coaches. I defended Dickey, Pell, Hall, Zook, Muschamp and now Mac. Until they are no longer our coaches.

More good news...LaBryan Ray is having a great time in Gainesville and he has a lot of family in the area of Gville so hang on to your hats...Mac was in home with him a few nights ago and Saban already shot his wad earlier...Ray loves the Gators and he just might be a great surprise for all the damn naysayers...or not. Dmb better start looking for bent pennies 
oh and I forgot to add that his family is with him and his extended family from the area are all on the visit with him.

Kinda reminds me of someone, tbh, just can't put my finger on it.
Hopefully I won't lose my head over it.
That being said, two 4 star DBs added to the team with the possibility of one other although I think it's a long shot (Blades, and his mom did post a picture of her son in Gator gear with other players).
Pretty much sures up our linebacker needs, so we can sell-out for bigger names and stars in the future and looks like we just need some d-line to round everything out.

MORE NEWS!!!! Said to hold on for the ride....well just to let you know that Levi Jones's mom tweeted pics of Jones with his Gator uniform and pic of him when he visited and other Gator recruits...looking good!

Damn Napier from Bama to ASU as an OC- not sure why we couldn't get one of those guys if all Mac had to do was offer the OC position would have been a simple two birds one stone deal- get rid of an incompetent OC and improve recruiting in one fell swoop.

You don't think that it's gotten old? Anytime any coach does anything, we start to have this storm of pissing and moaning, comparing them to Mac no matter what.
We literally have posters on here getting all hot and bothered when we do good things, it's too much to ask to just ask people to stay a little positive?
Not even saying the entire time, just not every goddamn second where another program does something we cover our eyes and pout in the corner.

It's the internet. If we can't bitch here where do we do it? Lol.
I think balance in all things is good. Those that bitch about anything bad should also celebrate the good.
But there are people here that are almost always positive, moving the goal posts no matter what.
I think that drives some people to be more negative, for balance. Maybe not even on purpose and just unintentionally. The opposite happens as well.
Anyways. For me personally I'm just happy UF hit on some recruits. 4 days to go.

There will always be sunshine pumpers (I know people have accused me of it), but we're recruiting decently (all of us want to see it better), we finished the season strong in contrast to last year, most of our team looks improved from year one to year two and we're in a much better position sitting on top of the East rather than the bottom.
I'm not saying don't bitch, but it's literally like some posters will take any news from any university and find some way to trashtalk McElwain, who has done, at the very least, a good job.

He has done a good job, given the circumstances (especially the shitshow at QB the last 2 years).
Year 3 will be telling though. I don't know how much longer I can watch an anemic offense.
Seven straight years of terrible offense is tough to watch.

I think I'm pretty fair in my criticism and praise for Mac. I guess I'm considered a pumper, but I don't see myself as anywhere near as positive as reel all the time and no where close to how TJ was before.
I'm extremely happy with our on field progress so far. I'm pretty concerned about us playing with fire this close to NSD. I hope we don't get burned and I think I've made my points pretty clear as this cycle has unfolded.
Four days left and a lot of things can change. Here's to hoping we finish strong and some of you guys don't rip each other's heads off

Gaddy brothers had a nice visit, I can see them in this class.
Also, rumblings that Lemons commits to UF (again) today. His ranking is absolutely criminal. He was easily a 4* and top 150 kid but was dropped because he didn't play the whole senior year.

I don't get too pissed about recruiting.
Kids change their minds every day and a lot of it is dirty recruiting by other schools (see Miami the other day...).
It matters if you can develop and coach up your recruits.
Sure you need talent, but harnessing that talent and getting it to perform matters more to me than the number of stars assigned by a rating service.

LaBryan Ray had 10 family members/friends with him on his visit. Family lives in Gainesville. Would be a tough pull, but he has enjoyed himself on the trip with family.

Hell...its three days left. Yes, Im a born optimist and glad I am. Its bothersome when good news is posted and then you get something that really isnt related out of left field to try and do a hatchet job. Nice.
