I can believe that.

I just think it's funny that he's actually causing more of an outraged uproar among the taters vs Carolina fans.

God I hope he just de-commits. Melt would be hotter than hot pocket insides.

The only thing I didn't like was the "there's something fishy going on".

However, it did read like he is assuming that something fishy is going on and doesn't know for sure/can't believe XT would decommit without fishy business.

Yeah, I heard an "insider" up there at clemtech is saying something is going on behind the scenes with XT.

Now I really don't know what to think! If this is purely from us just trolling, now we deserve an Emmy for it.

Of course because why on earth would any 18 year old kid NOT want to live in tater town in the middle of nowhere?

idk that guy seems to think he will genuinely decommit. If XT shows up to the game on saturday, Dax can suck it. WE WANT XT.

I mean if we did it through legit means, then by all means. But if it involves some "fishy" business, the last thing I would want would be Clemson gunning for us with the NCAA. We are not UNC in Basketball.

Makes him look like a huge pussy IMO. Scared of a guy visiting other schools = not confident in his own abilities, unlike Saban.

Saban's whole thing is "We are going to win. With or without you."

Clearly Dabo doesn't have that confidence.

I agree. Dabo is worried he'll lose recruits if they visit other schools and those schools start undoing the brainwashing they've worked so hard on.

And about the 'fishy' part...I believe the taters are egotistical enough to believe if anyone decommits from them then it has to be bc something is amiss.

Were he to show up at the game Saturday, mental hospitals in the upstate would be at full capacity bc of how insane it would legit drive them to be. And the hate factor with us? Well, it would be ratcheted up to levels never seen by anyone.

And I don't think they'll try the NCAA thing...they know we have shite on them and it would literally mean the end of P5 football in this state for quite a while. Neither side wants that.

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder if this thing doesn't have legs or not ... goes back to my post two pages back and ties into exactly what I was told.

This has something to do with what happened on his visit up there this weekend and being confronted by the coaches about a potential visit down here.

I still say, if he visits then it's game on. If he doesn't then it's much ado about nothing.

ETA: I just thought of something. What if, a big 'what if' mind you but what if, he actually does show-up this weekend and realizes he really doesn't like orange at all - that he really likes black. 84k crazy folks all dressed in black, flames and smoke going off everywhere, people going ape shite, loud arse music and then we kick Kentucky's butt. Owell, at least you're never too old to dream I guess.

... but orange really is a butt ugly color.

Trust me there is plenty that never gets out. We will release more when we the time is appropriate. We know what to expect and what has gone down this week. We will wait to see if what we expect happens and if it does we will share some background, but we certainly won't be able to share everything.

This sounds heavier than the Clemson staff just being mad that XT might visit Columbia. That sounds like concern over a legit decommitment.

Having said that, and knowing how XT has operated in the past, I'm sensing a giant troll job. And we're the targets.

But that troll job goes both ways. We have nothing to lose. They do. And their fans sure seem to be in the dark about all of it and they seem far more affected by this than we are. Most fans I have talked with no longer care either way but they are enjoying the hell out of watching the taters lose their damn minds.

A Clemson buddy of mine said Robert McCrae used to work with Philpott until he sold the scout site. I asked how credible he was, and my buddy said he "used to be really connected but not as much now." This is definitely interesting considering that they are now talking about it. All comes down to whether or not he visits.
