THe folks DO know about Clemson's history, Right?

I mean they still have buildings named after Klan Members.....

I think many already know that. clemson has about 1000 African American undergrad students out of 17,000. SC has about 2,500 African American students, out of 23,000 Undergrads.

made me lulz, author had some funny points about the protest...and this was from the liberal Free Times publication in Columbia.

quote:

The young woman, whom I will mercifully not name, said this when asked what the group was protesting: “We feel like diversity on campus is not being presented in the way that it should be, especially with Homecoming and things of that nature.”

That’s right folks, the USC protest was about Homecoming. And things of that nature.

quote:

Unfortunately (for her and for us), the young lady continued the interview.

Her next complaint against USC?

“We feel like it’s not trans-inclusive.”

While she offered no evidence of the university not welcoming or in any way mistreating transgender students (or even evidence of whether there are any), that doesn’t matter: Complaints today can be over theoretical issues, anonymous Facebook posts, or tweets from twits, no evidence required. In any case, the protesters listed establishing gender-neutral restrooms as one of their demands. After all, we must be ready if Caitlyn Jenner comes to speak on campus.
