Only one that really surprised me was August over KC

That one was my #1 as well. I think that is more to do with gameplanning against their DL than anything else imo.

I hadn't heard about Camper moving inside or Park taking any reps at RT. I thought Sawyer was a more clear favorite over Thomas at DE. Other than that nothing too suprising.

I had heard some good things about Blackshear at a meeting a few weeks ago. Sort of expected to see him over Fennell.

I think he's playing more of the traditional DE than the buck iirc.

Well hopefully he finally pans out. I been waiting for him to break out forever.

I was afraid he'd never come back from that gunshot wound. Glad he was able to overcome all of that.

Heard that Muschamp said that thus far Javon Kinlaw has exceeded expectations. Man that really pumps me up.

I was at that '99 deluge as well, I didn't bring a raincoat or poncho and they were selling NC State ponchos for a dollar. I decided a wet Gamecock t-shirt was better than a poncho.

I just have this feeling...and I haven't had it since we went on that 5 year tear...that things are going to exceed anything that any of us expected this year.

On another subject...there is a vid out about Jake Bentley's big noggin and what his teammates call him. Holy shite I laughed so hard. Muschamp calls Jake "Gazoo" after the alien on the Flinstones and Jake calls Muschamp Fred Flinstone bc he says he looks like him. This team seems to have chemistry that we haven't seen in quite a while.

The Joke About Bentley's Big Head

Y'all wait till you see his pic as a child...

Peyton Manning has a big head too...and he also had a good sense of humor. Not a bad QB to compare to!

The matchup that we will need to exploit this weekend is their secondary vs our TE/WR. If you read the article rooster linked, they mentioned having only 2 returning starters in this group. Neither of those guys will play vs us. Their 2 Corners are Nick McCloud and Johnathan Alston. McCloud has 1 start to his name and that was vs Vandy in the bowl game. Alston i believe I read is a guy that played 3 years at WR, they redshirted him last year so that he could make the transition to CB.

Jarius Morehead, their Strong Safety, has one start to his name simply because the real starter was suspended for the first half of a game last year so he go the start by default. Like McCloud, Dexter Wright the starting FS got almost all of his snaps last season in the bowl game vs Vandy although he didn't even actually start that game.

I believe that we will be running 2 TE sets a lot to give Bentley the extra 1/2 second needed to knife this secondary.
