I still side with Carolina Girl.
She sided with me.
She was just giving that gamecock22 fella a what-fer ... she's spirited like that.
She's never jumped anyone (no fellow Gamecock fan) in the main forum before - God Bless her.
Anyways, this shouldn't be about her ... this is all my fault I guess. Lost my temper over the way Muschamp did what he did - I still think it was classless. I tried to avoid the conversation until I saw the lies being spread about Matlock having talked bad about anyone ... seeing that made me even angrier.
I admit to giving a particular sheep humping taterhead the business about his mother when he is on here trolling us ... and shame on me for upsetting gamecock22 with the late night mother jokes directed at the taterhead ... we can't have that.
I've maybe given one or two others the mother business when they are trolling us ... just because, seemed the right thing to do at the time.
My Momma used to wash my mouth out with soap all the time ... I didn't mind the Ivory, but I would cuss like a sailor while she was shoving a bar of dial down my throat .... well, I mumbled the curse words best I could while gagging.
I even know how to curse in Farsi ... hell, I know how to curse in a dozen different languages.
I'm just bad ... ba ba ba bad to the bone.
Sorry ... that song popped in my head.
My granddaddy had this minor bird, named Tweety Bird, when I was a kid ... and when he wasn't around I confess, I taught the bird to cuss. Used to sit there and say curse words over and over again until the bird learned to curse.
Popbill thought it was funny .... but we're pretty sure my grandmother opened the door one Sunday afternoon and threw tweety out to the wild after some of those old church ladies showed up for tea. I felt bad for tweety ... but he picked the wrong time to rip off his entire repertoire with the old broads and their bibles there sipping oolong.
So I'm to blame here ... I've been causing problems with my cursing for a long long time. Sometimes, I dunno, it just blurts out ... like Tourettes or something.
I'm trying to turn over a new leaf.
It's not going to be any fun anymore though.

Meh.
While I don't necessarily agree with the type of rhetoric that CarolinaGirl and scrooster routinely implement I find it refreshing that there is a place for it to exist.
I mean I'm permabanned on a team-specific board for saying I'd rather see Pharoh Cooper taking all the snaps at QB than Dylan Thompson.
And while I think everyone is entitled to post their opinion, it would be nice if fellow USC posters didn't call each other out tRant. We don't have a lot of posters. If you don't agree with something you see a fellow USC member post you could at least keep the criticism to their opinion, not their rhetoric.
But I don't think gamecock22's access to this board should be up for debate. It'd be pretty hypocritical to revoke his access to this board while saying he should only call out USC posters on this board.

I don't think anyone wants him gone. Well, CG and Scrooster might but they haven't even tried that angle.

I tried to stay out of that thread. I enjoy this site and the Gamecock posters here, and I'm not going to step on anyone's toes, especially in the main forum. I don't always agree with what is said or done by the Gamecock posters, just like I'm sure they don't always like or agree with what I post, but I'm not going to call them out in the main forum. There are plenty enough idiots from other teams on the main forum that giving them more ammo to talk shite about South Carolina seems counterproductive. I would prefer any seriously critical attacks on the program or posters be addressed in here, but that's just my preference, each person has the right to do as they please. Hopefully, everyone here will at least maintain a civil tone with the other Gamecock posters.

I'm just going to avoid him, but that's just me.
I'm probably going to give a lot of second thought to putting out any inside information for awhile though ... not that big of a deal really. I just know for a fact that someone is taking stuff off of here and taking it back to other boards and then some of it goes back to the old Board Wars thing where there are jealous people ... nevermind, you know, it's always going to be the same way on the boards. It's just human nature I guess.
But honestly, I agree with you about everything else.

One thing this has done is open my eyes to me being viewed as an a-hole ... and I'm really not, but meh, whatever. Loved hanging around with some fellow Gamecock fans, y'all made me laugh, appreciated being able to take it a little further on the SECr. Was happy to be a part of seeing this Gamecock board become more active and in line with the other boards.
Probably about to become a bit more of a lurker than a poster ... well, more of an occasional poster rather than sitting down in front of this thing when I am working and then flipping over to these boards far too often. Hell, when I'm traveling or sitting in front of the TV or whatever I've got my phone or tablet in my hand too often ... it's overload I think. Too much reacting to the trolling, probably lost my patience a few too many times.

Don't want it to be reciprocated? Don't do it to begin with, then. I make zero apologies for defending myself and will do it every time unless it is done by some of the infamous trolls of tRant. It particularly pissed me off bc it was supposed to be a fellow Gamecock who did it. Have an issue with me...bring it here and we will rationally discuss it. But try to do it on the main board and just be prepared for a reaction. Won't happen again with 22 bc I consider him along the lines as Phat Phil and Sorantable..and as I stated earlier, I do not waste my time on useless trolls.
As far as the approach I take...y'all try being a female on this board and survive without developing some kind of return-fire MO. Is it brash? Yep. Is it bitchy? Yep. But only when incited.
